    What kind of distance for paper punching? I personally like the REPR out of those choices. It is a better looking gun and not every other gun guy you talk to has one like the ar-10. I think the McMillan is a little overkill unless you are shooting 1000 yard competitions. Just my 2¢

    What he said. I love my Savage .308. Really the savage in .223 or 22-250 may better suit you want to use the gun for varmints and whitetail. Lightweight bullets for small critters and heavy for the bigger ones.

    Good luck getting mags. Everyone is back ordered. I travel a lot and the only place I have found any in stock was in Claypool Hill Va @ Trader Jerrys in the mall.

    I would have but she just got her G-17 two weeks ago! She is pretty good with it too. She is pregnant and said she wanted it done before our daughter gets here in February.

    The main reason I ask is my wife wants her Glock 17 dipped with black and pink zebra stripes. We saw one at Gunslinger's in Kingsport and she fell in love. Guy working said dippingwulf did the finish on it.

    I have been hearing talk about hydro-dipping/ design transfer being done on guns. Has anyone had any interaction with a gun that has been dipped? There is a guy in my hometown that does it but i wanted to see if anyone has had bad experiences with it. For an example google: dippingwulf
