  1. This could very well be the beginning of of standardized the 308 AR.That would be a wonderful thing.
  2. +1 for the Savage! My model 10 fcp-sr 308 with a temporary Vortex 4-12 × 40mm scope The scope that i plan to get for it http://www.opticsplanet.com/vortex-viper-pst-6-24x50-ffp-riflescope.html
  3. It is 2°F here in Mount Carmel. Good news is that my ice cream cone is not melting!
  4. If that ever happens with mine...someone will get an AMAZING deal on some of them :/
  5. I didn't make it today I'll be by there tomorrow to see if I can find any 30 cal or 44 Cal bullets to load
  6. 360 here also. Love me some Hardcore Domination!
  7. I have been thinking about getting a Vortex pst 6-24×50 for my savage 308 model 10 fcp-sr. It has a 24" 1:10" twist threaded, fluted bull barrel. I have a cheap $200 Vortex 4-12×40. I have only shot it out to 300 yards so far but I love the Vortex. As soon as I have the extra money I'm going to order the 6-24×50
  8. Dang apparently I'm missing out on some great threads!
  9. If I remember correctly Dad got his at Dicks for $329 and it had a $30 mail in rebate. And I think that we had to use two weaver front scope bases for a rem 700. That was all we could find at the time that had the correct hole spacing.
  10. I got a couple thousand dollars worth a while back at the bank. I handed them back and asked them for some real money. I told them I didn't need any Dutch marks!
  11. I bought my dad a replacement stock horse his old charter arms ar-7 survival rifle. He broke the original stock around twenty or twenty five years ago. I also got him a set of TFO sights for his glock 26, and a mix of ammo: 30-06, 5.56mm, 5.7mm, 9mm 22 lr, 22 mag, and a few gen 3 p - mags with windows. I think he will be excited.
  12. My dad bought one of the 783's in 30-06. My first impression of it was that it felt cheap and kinda poorly made. He put a Bushnell trophy XLT 3-9×40mm on it. We took it to the range and it blew my mind. It seemed to love the heavier 180 grain bullets. At 100 yards it will stack round after round into one jagged hole! As a matter of fact I'm going to be getting one for myself very shortly! Definitely a "buy" in my opinion.
  13. Order from Spikes Tactical: http://www.spikestactical.com/new/ss/hellbreaker-billet-stripped-lower-p-1070.html?zenid=38ba860aea82d1807122214c278a73e1
  14. Same here. I plan on filling out some paperwork on a 7.62 suppressor and maybe a 22 suppressor around the middle of February.

  16. They are yours then. Shoot me a message with an address and I'll try to get them in the mail tomorrow or Saturday.
  17. I would but I'd rather give them to a member such as yourselves. Someone who actually contributes not just someone who only uses the classifieds and never reads posts like this.
  18. That's what I thought. Do you know any of the "more active" TGO members that could use something like these? My average shooting is 300 yards or less so I'm not really a "long range" shooter.
  19. Have you tried them before? Just curious as I haven't found anyone local that has ever tried them.
  20. Current bid on e-bay $1,000.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251400985690
  21. I purchased some second hand reloading supplies awhile back and finally went through it today and came across a box of Berger 22 Cal 90 grain BT Target Long Range bullets. Anyone out there loading these? If so what for 223, 22/250? Are they any good?
  22. Nice! I prefer Buffalo Trace single barrel though.
  23. Upper parts kit $24.99 http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/psa-ar-15-upper-build-kit.html
