  1. Not a bad one but I bought a ProTech godson and it bit me a few minutes ago. Dang this thing is sharp :)
  2. Welcome. I'm on the other side of Kingsport
  3. It does snap in but apparently not so well in some of them. I have also seen a beretta px4 subcompact 9mm do this at the gun range. I picked up the slide assembly off the ground for the guy and it still had a live round in the chamber. It scared the hell out of me when I saw a live round looking back down the barrel at me.
  4. I have a buddy that had this happen on a brand new LCP on the second magazine. He sent it back to Ruger and they "repaired it" and sent it back to him. The same gun blew apart after less than 100 rounds of speer lawman fmj ammo. They sent him a brand new one that he promptly sold. I had a LCP for over 3 years and shot well over 1500 rounds of the exact same ammo. I never had a single malfunction.
  5. Bingo I got the win on that one! The community has spoken!
  6. Dang! You could use that thing as a crutch. What's the barrel length?
  7. Remington 783 $343 Basically its a Savage rifle with Remington stamped on it. Dad has one in 30-06 and we are shooting sub 0.5" groups at 100 yards. http://www.slickguns.com/product/remington-783-308-syn-bolt-matte-36400 Can't find it right now but Dolomite_supafly made a very informative post about them. If I find it I'll link it below.
  8. I would buy this without even having to think about it: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/79977-saiga-12-shotgun-price-drop-1200/?view=getnewpost That is one sweet shotgun!
  9. When I want to laugh it has to be either "Joe Dirt" or "Balls of Fury". Both movies make me laugh every time I watch them
  10. Now Hodgdon Reloading isn't working for me. Tried to look up starting loads for 115 gr 9mm using CFE pistol and I can only enter the caliber then it will not let me do anything else
  11. Hey now that you have one of those fancy machines you going to start doing on the side for a small fee? ;)
  12. Several Walmarts in southwest Virginia carry loading equipment.
  13. Hodgdon.com didn't work for me either, then I tried http://www.hodgdonreloading.com/ and it works
  14. Not that I could afford one right now, but if you don't mind me asking how much does a custom creation like this cost? If you don't want to post the cost here you can send me a pm. I would love to have you make me one similar to it one day.
  15. Alright this one in my opinion is the absolute best looking knife that I ever seen on this forum. I'm in love!
  16. Earlier this year Sig had a promotion where if you bought a new Sig 1911 you got a free Sig 1911 .22. I'd bet this was one of the free guns
  17. Bass pro shop should be open fall of this year and Cabelas is slated to open spring of next year
  18. The main reason I bought it was it is the only pistol powder I have seen in a while and I'm almost out of HS6
  19. Found a couple of pounds of CFE Pistol Powder at Mahoneys in Johnson City today for $24/lb. I am curious to see who is using it, for what caliber and how it stacks up against other pistol powders. I will primarily be using it for 9mm 115/124 bullets out of a XDM 5.25.
  20. Truglo says that the Tritium will stay in place if the fiber optic breaks
  21. I got them on black Friday last year. I can't remember where I ordered them from but they were running a buy one get one half off deal. I installed them myself using a punch. There are marks in the dovetail that you can use to line them up with but I just marked the slide with a pencil and lined them up that way. Another pic: Pic in dark. Not a very good one I'll take a better one tonight:
