  1. I know there are a few guys here getting into 10mm so: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/psa-munitions-200ct-10mm-new-brass-and-200ct-200gr-tmj-projectiles-in-ammo-can.html http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/psa-munitions-500ct-10mm-200gr-tmj-projectiles-in-psa-ammo-can.html
  2. Odd enough for you? I would like to see a nice car
  3. Try a nylon or synthetic brush. Brass brushes can leave what appears to be copper fouling when combined with some solvents. My 9mm XDM 5.25 looked like this before switching to a nylon bore brush. The solvent I was using at the time was Hoppes #9. Now I use the nylon brush and have started reloading with CFE pistol powder and the fouling has disappeared.
  4. Prize was a Ruger gunsite scout in 5.56mm. http://www.ruger.com/products/gunsiteScoutRifle/models.html
  5. Rogersville best food = Amis Mill. Only open Thursday - Sunday. They have an amazing smoked prime rib and they do a mean low country boil. Have yet to get anything that I wouldn't order again. http://www.amismill.com/
  6. Thanks! This will be my second. First one (a girl) is around a year and a half old now.
  7. Spent some time this morning at the reloading bench making up some 9mm test loads using Berrys 115 gr round nose plated bullets and some CFE Pistol Powder. Went to the range to try out some 208gr 308 win loads. Then went to the Dr office to find out this: I'm going to be a dad again! My wife is 8 weeks pregnant so should be around the middle of April when the baby arrives.
  8. Good idea. Reading this while I let the barrel cool off a little bit.
  9. Approximate value between $800- $1200...Wonder what it is?
  10. I've seen the sign a couple of times but that's about it. Saw that the entrance fee was being donated to someone? I was going too fast to read who.
  11. Again not sierra but Max load of 19.5 grains.
  12. Not sierra but this Nosler sheet shows 19 gr of 4227 is max and that the 17 grain min charge is a compressed load at 104% *Added pic
  13. I have a H&K tumult and after opening and closing it a few times I have no fear of it opening while in my pocket. Takes quite a bit of pressure and almost an inch of travel on the switch before it opens.
  14. Good looking rig!
  15. I have fired a few rounds from a p-90 and it seems like a neat gun but not really what I'd like to have. I'm not a big bullpup fan and I hated the trigger. I hadn't even thought about getting an AR upper chambered in 5.7 but that may be what I end up doing. I have Googled it a few times and came up with nothing but I thought I would check here to see if there was such a thing as a 5.7 bolt gun. Thanks for all the information.
  16. Does anyone out there offering a bolt action or a single shot rifle in 5.7 x 28mm? I think it would be something neat to play around with at the farm on groundhogs and such. I already have a small stockpile of ammo and a 5.7 pistol but would like to add a rifle to the mix.
  17. Have you tried mixing some titanium dioxide with the glow powder? Just curious if you can get a sight that is a little brighter white in the day and still glows well at night.
  18. Great write up. I think that anything that you post about (how to) or (DIY) should automatically be pinned to the top of the page. I will be doing this as soon as I receive the glow in the dark powder that I'm about to order!
  19. That's a great looking knife. I am growing pretty fond of the chisel point style blades.
  20. Been there done that before. Same chick same crap with four different dudes (I'm a slow learner). You can't change them no matter how much you want to. Eventually you decide that you have had enough and move on. She ended up marrying a guy I know and having his best friends baby and he stuck with her thinking she would change. Now he is raising his ex-friends baby and is, as of last month, the white father of a African American baby. It's hard to hear advice like is being given here and even harder to take it. I was given the same advice and didn't listen. Save yourself a lot of problems and heartache by heeding our collective advice or at the very least being extremely cautious from this point forward.
  21. Building (assembling) a lower is really easy. I have done a few and if I can do it anyone can. Lots of good videos on YouTube with step by step instructions.
  22. This should get a sticky for future reference!
  23. What kind of gun?
  24. He deleted the phone number off of the add but not before I copied it ;) "423-416-22 Six ZeRo in Kingsport"
  25. Looks like they are not going to have to amputate at this point. They gave me a prescription for pain killers and antibiotics to keep it from getting infected. They also said that I should keep it elevated, and I should be able to return to work in a couple of weeks but only light duty for a while.
