A little spalted maple I'm making a coffee table with!

Long time no post, been absent from the forum for quite awhile. A few years ago I changed jobs over to operating heavy equipment all day long, between that and starting a family I haven't spent much time online. Anyway I picked up my first gravity knife, a Paragon Warlock by Asheville steel in s30v with what they call a sorcerer grind. Insanely fun to open and close, and pretty sharp for a factory edge.

Last firearm related purchase for me was a violin case lol And a random 24", 223 wylde chambered upper from PSA. It hasn't shown up yet so no pic as of now

I've been carrying this one for a while as a backup knife. She finally bit me today. Normally not a serrated blade kind of guy but I love this one!

This thread got me thinking, it's been way too long. So today after work I went to my mom's out in the country. Hadn't planned on going, so I just got my trunk gun out and ran a few hundred rounds thru it.

I like it pretty well. They've been doing better with the upkeep and range improvements. It's like everywhere else, some days it's crowded and sometimes there are idiots there. For the most part it's a good group of people though.

I bought from them a lot when they still offered local pick up. Guns, bullets, powder, primers, I would plan work in Johnson City on pick up days just so I'd make sure I could get there in time lol. Then they got bought out and cut guns and local pick up, and now powder and primers... It's sad to see

Long time no post, but life isn't as hectic as it has been so I'm back. Recently I changed the barrel out on my CMT/TGO rifle to a 20" Christensen Arms carbon fiber wrapped 223 wylde barrel. I'm trying to find either a thread protector or a flash hider that is the same diameter as the barrel or at least pretty close to it. I'm not a big fan of brakes due to the added noise and blast to the shooter and the people next to me. Anyway the end of the muzzle looks to be 0.915". Anyone have a suggestion of something close? Edited to add it's a 1/2×28 thread.

Well, I bought a DeSantis Invader IWB, after wearing it for a week I think I'm going to like it pretty well. I'm going to have to make a slight modification to it because of the Tru-glo TFX Pro's I put on it. When I draw the gun, the front sight scrapes the kydex and it removes a shaving of the kydex. And that partially covers the front dot or completely covers it.

I didn't say that the entire situation wasn't absurd. I said it was avoidable. Regardless of whether or not he had his finger on the trigger of the pepper spray, if they wouldn't have been in that lane he wouldn't have been able to hit them even if he tried the exact same thing. It's pretty simple actually, they could have sped up or slowed down and merged safely in to the other lane and the cop couldn't have reached them with it. I'm not arguing the case for either side here because I think that both sides are morons. But no matter how pissed off the cop is, he can't pepper spray you if you are out of his range.

This one may be pushing the boundaries a little but I think it's hilarious (mods delete if it is crossing the line)
