i am thinking about building a 10/22. the gun will be an all around plinking, trick shooting with buddies, hunting, etc gun. i have read some on here about ideas of what to do to the gun but wanted to comprise it to one and get everyones opinion. i know i want the hogue rubber stock. i think volquartson hammer, volquartson extractor, barrel???, send the gun off to be head spaced. anything to add or change? what brand barrel? also, would anyone in the murfreesboro area be interested in helping/showing me how to do everything myself? thanks

i think i will like the larger frame to fit my hands. i haven't decided on any one brand but have seen these two locally.
