  1. The way it was explained to me(I just purchased a saker 7.62 from them last week) is they have 2 options. 1. You can pay them the $200 tax stamp money plus a $75 fee and they do all the paper work, send everything in, and then transfer to LGS(On Target was the closest for me). I was told I would be responsible for nothing else except the $10 tic fee. 2. You can just purchase from them and have your LGS do all the paperwork. I was told that with the first option they could go ahead and send my form 4 in while they were waiting on their form 3 to clear, therefore speeding the process up.
  2. I haven't had a chance to shoot any of mine but reading reviews online, it seems to be a good quality "cheap" ammo.
  3. How does rattle can hold up on suppressors? I never thought about using that until Luke suggested it instead of cerakote on my lower.
  4. Thanks for the info. I'm still trying to decide if i'm going to cerakote or not. I keep changing my mind back and forth. I never thougth to blast before engraving.
  5. There is also a video made by silencer shop that is as or more helpful. it does look like a nightmare but it's not as bad as it seems. let me know when your ready and i can help you do it.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRbsltM3jyU
  6. Actually, I'm already thinking about a 22 can. When Silencershop said they keep my trust on file, it almost makes it too easy.
  7. Thanks. That's odd but good to know
  8. I just my trust set up today. I called silencershop.com and order my Saker 7.62 and got everything emailed to them this afternoon. I just finished my form 1 efile(thank goodness for this thread http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_17/415446_Visual_guide__How_to_fill_out_a_Form_1_using_EFORMS.html). Now let the wait begin!!   Can I assemble my lower after getting it engraved or do I need to wait?
  9. No offense taken, I appreciate the deals that others have posted and I'm just trying to do the same
  10. I bought perfecta .223 50rd box(6 boxes) at Walmart Sunday morning for $8.94 a box. $0.18 a round. That's all they had or I would have gotten more. This store had roll back stickers claiming the sale price. The store where I bought the 45 did not have stickers up and didn't want to sell it to me for the sale price but I asked the manager to honor the price that the other store had(he called and checked) and they did.
  11. I can take a pic of my receipt and post if you want me to.
  12. Check your local Walmart. They have perfecta brand brass cased ammo on sale. $8.94 for 50rds of 45ACP, 40S&W, or 55gr 223 and $6.94 for 50rds 9mm or 20rds 308.
  13. I plan to get the Saker 7.62. It seems to be the highest recommend. I plan to use mine on 300 and 5.56. Silencershop.com has them for $899
  14. Thanks. I meet with John Thursday but have been trying to figure out what I need to get lined out on engraving. I know the law states at least 0.03 deep but should I go a little deeper since I plan to ceracoat?
  15. bump for new questions
  16. Thanks. I know the can won't fit inside the rail but I didn't know how much barrel I needed sticking out.
  17. this 12.5" barrel(http://ar15performance.com/inc/sdetail/11562/14399) with this 12" DD lite rail III(https://danieldefense.com/rail-systems/ar15-lite-rail-iii/ar15-lite-rail-iiitm-12-0-rifle.html) and a saker 7.62 with trifecta maad module on a muzzle brake(  http://www.silencershop.com/shop/silencerco-saker-762/). i read somewhere that 1" of barrel needs to be extended past the rail but didn't know if that was right or not. this is the combo i want but will change if i need to.   i'm going to get my trust taken care of next week and then on to spending money
  18. thanks. i will try to call tomorrow. daniel
  19. can somebody post a link to or walk me thru the trust process? i have looked and searched and maybe i am overlooking it but i don't see it. i want to do a trust and plan to do a SBR and can for a 300blkout.  Answered  but have another question and don't want to clog up the board.   I am going to do a trust. What needs to be engraved on my receiver? i have read NFA 6.2.1 and all of 7.4 and i'm not a lawyer so i'm still not sure. Since i am using a CMTtac lower, it will already have a manufacture serial number. i got the posting at the bottom from a lawyer's website. i assume that "i" will be CMT's model number? "ii" will be from CMT? "iii" my trust name??? "iv" the town i live in or the town where i work, had the receiver engraved, or did my trust?   (2) By engraving, casting, stamping (impressing), or otherwise conspicuously placing or causing to be engraved, cast, stamped (impressed), or placed on the frame, receiver, or barrel thereof certain additional information. 20. I had the same problem. Mine ended up being the tube and block not lining up. I had to put them together and drill the tube to line it up.
  21. thanks for this post. i've been trying to find a comfortable way to carry "dressed up" and nothing else feels right.
  22. I'm in Christiana and have them(I've got to hunt for them)
