  1. I have read that the closer it is mounted to the barrel, the less you have to adjust it. But I wanted to hear ever ones opinion. I will look at the warranties. Thanks
  2. I have a sparrow. It is 6.5 oz. What mods would either need? Barrel suggestions if I go with the buckmark? Thoughts on the Mueller? My only concern is that it looks to set up high.
  3. I'm looking to get another 22 pistol. My P22 doesn't really fit my hands so little man just got his first pistol. I will be shooting it suppressed and i am thinking hard about a MRDS. I like the feel of the buckmark but I know that I will have to replace the barrel, which adds to the cost. I like the new 22/45 lite cobalt, aluminum lightened barrel and a rail. My worry on the 22/45 is that the rail is too high and will cause problems with my red dot. Also, will the poly frame hold up to a suppressor? Thoughts? Also, I'm looking at the Mueller Quick Shot, any opinions or reviews on this sight?
  4. Don't remind me. Lol It'll come, check the website. I never got an email for my SBR
  5. Sounds good
  6. I have about decided on the RAR. Is there a 1 piece scope base made to fit it? When I search, the Weaver #12 is all that comes up.
  7. Does anyone have a RAR in 22mag? Like it,hate it?
  8. I expected that answer but for some reason I have rimfire on my mind.
  9. I have the rimfire magnum bug bad. I plan to mostly use it for suppressed varmint hunting. I had a Ruger 77/17 in 17 HMR and liked the round but I had to pick and choose my days to shoot it based on wind. Plus, it was almost too nice to carry in the woods. I like what I've read/heard about the new 17 WSM but I don't like the B-Mag and don't plan to spend the money on another 77. Plus, Silencerco does not list 17 WSM for my sparrow. So, I've about decided on 22 mag. I plan to try some of the new polymer tipped 30gr rounds.   Now, I have to decide on which gun. I'm back and forth between the Magnum Research 10/22 mag and the Ruger American. MR does not sell a magnum with a threaded barrel, so I would have to get another barrel and after using a KIDD trigger in my 10/22, I would want a better trigger. The RAR comes with a threaded barrel but I don't like the stock, so I plan to get a Boyd stock. I've read that modifying the RAR trigger is fairly easy if I don't like it or I saw that Timney makes one for it.      Any suggestions or opinions on the caliber or rifle to get? I know that using one of my 223 would be cheaper/possibly better route but I want a rimfire. I have looked at a Savage 93, and I just don't care for the magazine sticking out.
  10. I honestly don't remember even seeing a tag. I had my 4year old with me and I was so disappointed with the quality that I never looked for a tag. It was on one of the lazy susan's out on the middle.
  11. It was at the Outpost. Have at it if you want, I'm not going to get it.
  12. I got my father in law a gamo bone collector at Walmart. Pretty nice.
  13. Yeah, I've looked on Bud's. They're out of stock on 17s. I'll either go with 17hmr or 22wmr. I'm back and forth, I had a 17 once before and it was devastating on whatever it hit but even the slightest wind thru it off. I'm thinking about the 22wmr and using the 30gr ballistic tip shells. I want to stay with a rimfire because I'll be using a suppressor. That is another reason I'm looking at the Ruger, one model comes with a threaded barrel. I did look at a used A17 a couple of days ago and I was not impressed. I understand why the mag falls out, it is a cheap piece of molded plastic "glued" to a piece of metal. The stock was cheap and flimsy looking but I don't know that it's any worse than others in its price range.
  14. I'm actually looking at a Ruger American right now, just because of the price.
  15. Volquartsen.com I want one but hate to spend that much.
  16. Maybe you can be that one. And since I'm in Murfreesboro also, I can help you try it out. LOL
  17. Be sure to check their site. I never received an email. Definitely a nice surprise.
  18. The only problem I have ever had with this round is wind. I think a fart would move it 6in. I was looking at this rifle hard, until I started reading about the 17wsm and now I'm kinda stuck on which one to go with.
  19. I'm looking for a spot to dove hunt in the Murfreesboro area. I have a tractor, disc, bush hog, etc. and would be happy to help build a field for rights to hunt. Also, I wanted to see if anyone wanted to get together and shoot skeet to "get ready"?
  20. I logged on the ATF site today and saw approved! But I never got an email, so I'm not sure how to print my stamp
  21. My form 1 was finally approved! It took 92 days  . What do I do now? I did not get an email, I found out by logging into the ATF site. Do they mail me everything?
  22. Wasn't me but I'm out in Christiana. I wish I had a TGO sticker
  23. I used to use Rem Oil to lube everything but after my 10/22 problems I realized that it was drying. I use it to wipe down the outside and use Lucas gun oil to lube moving parts.
  24. I'm thinking about this for my SBR. Is it too light for balance with a suppressor?
