  1. Had mine for a couple of years now and I love it more and more each day - just a really well-designed firearm that's comfy to carry.
  2. Yep, G27 for both.

Nice update, thanks. I'm in no hurry, but can't imagine not having one of these for plinking.

It's good to see so many folks sharing their experiences here to help a fellow TGO'r out, but it sucks there's so much experience. Most of you guys have been though this and healed up by now, but I'm still sorry you had to go through it.
  6. Received some George Dickel Barrel Select from a client for Christmas, sipping it now. It's nice...

Yah, I'm going to have to try one out. Nice that you had no FTF's or FTE's.
  9. OK, found it: LiveLeak.com - Jewelery Store Shooting in Agra
  10. Crap, figured someone would ask. Lemme look - it was posted here...
  11. Surprised no one has posted the video of the shop owner getting killed as he was repeatedly shot while trying to chamber a round...
  12. It's beautiful. I'm going to have to save my pennies...
  13. I don't know anything about that knife, but that blade is a work of art...
  14. Yah, I've never understood why the government can tell a private business owner who they have to serve. Makes zero sense to me. The next logical step is to invade our homes with their 'fairness rules', which of course they've been trying to do for some time now...
  15. Just buy Kwikset Smartkey locks. I use them now, makes it really easy to replace old locks and they make good stuff.
  16. IMO, a private business owner should be able to refuse to serve anyone for any reason they choose, so realize your argument won't help you from my perspective.
  17. I understand, but I'm not prepared to force business owners to run their businesses in a certain way. If they don't want my business, I'll take it elsewhere.
  18. You'd probably win, but that doesn't make it right. Neither does your choice to eat at a place that forces you to disarm make it their responsibility to protect you from other people. If respecting other people's rights pisses you off, take your business elsewhere.
  19. My fav: A priest and a rabbi are sitting next to each other on an airplane. After a while the priest turns to the rabbi and asks, "Is it still a requirement of your faith that you not eat pork?" The rabbi responds, "Yes, that is still one of our beliefs." The priest then asks, "Have you ever eaten pork?" To which the rabbi replies, "Yes, on one occasion I did succumb To temptation and tasted a ham sandwich." The priest nodded in understanding and went on with his reading. A while later, the rabbi spoke up and asked the priest, "Father, is it still a requirement of your church that you remain celibate?" The priest replied, "Yes, that is still very much a part of our faith." The rabbi then asked him, "Father, have you ever fallen to the temptations of the flesh?" The priest replied, "Yes, rabbi, on one occasion I was weak and broke with my faith." The rabbi nodded understandingly. He was silent for about five minutes, and then he said, "Beats the hell out of a ham sandwich, doesn't it?"
  20. Better question is whether or not it's legal...
  21. I doubt it would make any difference, but I recommend double-checking grammar and spelling before mailing these companies...
  22. I think a steripen has it's place, but if you really want to filter enough water to drink and prepare food with (1G/day/person, minimum) you need to look at something with a greater throughput, imo. A Berkey gravity filter is great (though you can make your own for about 1/3rd the price with food grade buckets and replacement filters from Berkey) or you can go with something from Katadyn (I have a Katadyn Pocket - the filter is good to 13k gallons of filtration and while it's not as physically efficient as the gravity filters, it's far more portable).
  23. Saw and read about this one a while back - apparently when the scumbag first pulls the revolver it's sitting on a spent cartridge, so he gets only a 'click' - you can see and hear that in the video. If not for that, that officer is probably dead - it bought him a half a second to get on the move...
  24. +2 That said, to be fair, the Dems have been in control of our out-of-control spending for a while now. As an eternal optimist, I have hope that these newly elected R's will actually be fiscally conservative, though nothing in recent history would back that...
