Yah, I've no problem with him taking some credit for the operation, but i wish he'd take credit for the screw-ups as well. Like most all politicians, he's awesome at beating his chest when things go well, but you'll NEVER hear him utter "I screwed up"...

Assuming this was as planned as it appears (nixing plan to use JDAMs in favor of SEAL team in order to assure we got him, etc), I suspect they had a lab set up just for this. IOW, I'm betting in a few short hours after they landed back in Afghanistan they had DNNA confirmation...

News coverage has said it can take as little as five hours to do a full DNA test - they had plenty of time. Along with other physical evidence, I'm sure they got him.
