Yah, I don't think anyone is suggesting doing it with a choke. As for the other stuff, who knows - I just know guys have been doing this for a long time and I've never heard of any issues (other than people assuming greater pressure, which has been proved false). I keep enough slugs around I don't worry about it, but it's a good thing to file away, imo.

Like what? You might be surprised to find that pressure was substantially lower in testing cut shells vs normal. If not that, then what other reasons would you not do it?

Yah, there's ZERO need to exaggerate the numbers here - if the ATF did this with ONE firearm it's damning enough, but up to 2500? Don't give the defenders of the BATFE and it's evil plans something to cast doubt on the entire story - focus on the FACTS and let the evidence damn those involved.

Probably been mentioned before, but is there a chance we might create some sub-forums in the firearms classifieds (like three: west, central and east) so those of us looking to buy can more easily differentiate where the seller is located? I see things all the time that I'd jump on if they weren't on the other side of the state, though I don't know where they are until I click on the link and read it - would be GREAT if one could just look at the items in their part of the state. Obviously, one could look at a couple or all three sub-forums if they are willing to hike, but I suspect the percentage of folks willing to drive from Knoxville to Memphis for a gun are pretty small... Just a thought...
