  1. But again, this ignores the two points I've made earlier: 1- the sheer number of 'islamic extremists' is mind boggling compared to any other group. Sure, there are individuals from other religions / backgrounds / etc., but they equate to a very small percentage of the atrocities. 2- sure, there are other commonalities among groups within the islamic extremists, but you can't deny the most obvious - they're all muslims. Spin all you want, the point remains that from a pure numbers standpoint, nothing compares - and it's not even close. So why is it that all these religious zealots are doing this stuff? It's not regional, as it happens literally all over the world. Besides their religion, what else do all of them have in common? (not a rhetorical question)
  2. Most transparent administration in history, indeed.
  3. If Papa Johns fires him, I'll never order from them again, and will inform them of this.
  4. I el-oh-el'd at this comment: Dang! He only had three bullets?
  5. For those of us with kids in bedrooms spread out in the house, staying in the bedroom isn't an option. If there's a break-in, I'm clearing the house. Thugs may overwhelm and kill me, but I guarantee I'm taking a few of them with me.
  6. *sigh* I've already explained this has nothing to do with 'my beliefs' - I'm simply talking facts. Numbers. Whatever, it's obvious some here refuse to see what I'm saying. You guys can pat yourselves on the back and tell each other how enlightened you are. have fun.
  7. Haha, ok, hardcore with the semantics I see. I mean, those 'islamic extremists' aren't muslims, eh? Yeesh. The political correctness doctrine is strong with this one...
  8. Yah, yah, whatever - while we're still human and therefore will always breed new monsters, we're far beyond the dark ages wrt life in general. And that's my point - aside from a very few loonies, there's NOTHING in modern Christianity that compares with radical islamist. Nothing. I'm not even passing judgement on Islam - one of my regular shooting buddies is a muslim - my point was that from a purely factual numbers standpoint, no organization on earth is anywhere near as bloody as radical islamists nowadays. It's not even close.
  9. Sure thing, but we're not talking throughout history, we're talking right now. I'd like to think we're past the dark ages. Sure, there are bat-crap crazy people of all types, but you can't begin to find a listing of Christians (or any other organized group) that can begin to hold a candle to what radical islamists do over any period of time. You can't begin to show me anything like the page I linked above regarding 'right leaning white men', because there's simply not enough info to make it worth your while. Look, you can argue all day if you want to, but right now, nothing comes close to radical islamists wrt death toll. Nothing. I know this offend your 'enlightened, PC sensibilities' and all that, but facts are facts.
  10. I like the fact they're bringing out Shane's dark side. Make for an interesting sub-plot. It was obvious he was dangerous when he was thinking long and hard about taking Rick out with the shotgun in the woods.
  11. This is a good point, but to lump terrorists in with 'bad people' kinda dilutes the whole thing. At some point, we have to get past the political correctness and call things for what they are. Islam, like it or don't, causes far more death and destruction than any other religion or group on the planet. This list, updated regularly, tracks terrorist attics by muslims over the last two months: Islam: Making a True Difference in the World - One Body at a Time You can point out McVeigh or Kaczynski all you want to, but these (rare) guys can't hold a candle to what islamic extremists do in a given week, so let's drop the 'bigot' label and call it like it is, mkay?
  12. That's a great idea.
  13. Thanks for posting.
  14. I'm not saying they don't have the right to refuse service, but the Federal Civil Rights Act guarantees all people the right to "full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation, without discrimination or segregation on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin." IOW, saying 'if you voted for Obama I won't accept your business' is OK, but it's not ok to state 'if you're a muslim I won't accept your business.' I believe every business should be able to refuse anyone based on anything, personally, but Federal law says otherwise - there are 'protected classes'... Civil Rights Act of 1964 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ETA: IANAL, could be wrong, etc etc...
  15. Err, I don't believe that's correct. It should be how it works, but I don't think it currently is...
  16. I have two: - Colt Python, nickel, 6" - S&W Model 610, 4"
  17. My AR eats the stuff like candy. I've gone through a few thousand rounds of Silver bear on several occasions without cleaning. Buy it cheap...
  18. Keep it and wait for the eviction, then find a place that's not so, well, french-shower-y. And pay attention to your lease next time.
  19. Roll Tide!
  20. Tapatalk does work on the iPhone, for that matter...
  21. Ten years ago would you have ever thought that would happen at our airports?
  22. Yep, you'd end up paying less in taxes on most items.
  23. Yep, there's a zero percent chance I'll vote for Romney, and I know quite a few conservatives who feel the same. Likewise, there is zero doubt in my mind Cain would be a better president. Zero. The man is a proven business leader and his accomplishments dwarf what Obama has accomplished (even being elected president). Would Cain be able to save our beloved country by getting us off the self-destructive path we've been on for decades now? I have no idea, but Obama has been horrible by virtually every measure - I cannot fathom any way Cain could equal being as bad.
  24. He was a Fed chairman, he has no problem with the Fed, though he doesn't agree with how it's been used in the last few years.
