  1. I would think the OP's argument would be impetus enough for the lifelong repubs - who always vote for the lesser of two evils - to start working to get someone better nominated instead of sitting back and waiting to see what the masses decide for them. But when they repeat the 'RP is unelectable' mantra instead of actually trying to do something about it, I guess we know all we need to know. If you want to save this country from the path we've been on for far too long now, get involved.
  2. Complete and utter BS. Only in 2011 can someone claim that voting for the better candidate is the wrong choice, that voting for the lesser candidate because that's what 'most will probably do' is the right thing to do. Unreal. Wake up, people - voting 'against' someone is why we continually end up with such horrible elected officials. Blaming those willing to stand for principles while you cast a vote for someone you'd never vote for if there were no 'bad choices' is the pinnacle of hypocrisy. You want to know who elected Obama last time? The very people supporting the pice of crap the republicans foisted as his opponent...
  3. If I were one of the parents of those poor kids, I'd hope these dirtbags were allowed out on bond.
  4. Well, I will - I refuse to vote for the 'lesser of two evils' anymore - I haven't in some time now. You guys want to continue electing the same clowns over and over, go right ahead. You can only blame yourself. But yah, keep repeating the 'RP is unelectable' mantra that the hardliners want you to - the only reason he is 'unelectable' is because most sheep vote down party lines like they're told to.
  5. WI need to organize my own 'gun buy back'. Especially if I could have an officer on hand to run BG checks and take possession if it's stolen. I bet if you lay out $50/gun, you could EASILY make a killing, even after you got rid of the crap.
  6. Newt will do fine for the republican base who blindly vote the same sort of politicians in over and over again.
  7. Same here on my work machine, though on my Macbook (running Lion), Safari made the switch...
  8. Fans say that all the time, but it's rarely the case. Those with money don't toss it around for football coaches, most of the time. I know a few 'big time' donors from the University of Alabama - they're RABID football fans but none of them are interested in donating more just for the football program. They give enough already. Now if they need a new library or want to rebuild a building for the actual student body, these guys line up. Every SEC school has tons of big money donors - there's a reason they nearly always wait to replace these coaches. That said, DD has at least another year - UT would be stupid to fire him now. What successful coach would want to go to a school that's on its third coaching search in four years?
  9. Or they filmed it in Jack's front yard.
  10. Well, if they're just walking around anyway, may as well strap a lawnmower to 'em.
  11. Tennessee has serious leadership issues - when your starting RB says: Tauren Poole: "The whole game, no one wanted to be out there ... people were out of it." you know there are a lot of serious issues that need to be addressed. Dooley has his work cut out for him...
  12. Roll Tide!
  13. That's one business that would never get another dime of my money.
  14. Wow, fantastic news, thank you so much for posting this!
  15. You also saw that earlier this year when we thumped Arky, 38-14.
  16. It's about the two best teams, nothing more. Anyone who doesn't believe Bama and LSU are the two best teams in the country hasn't watched much football this year.
  17. Good weekend for Bama - looks like if we beat auburn next weekend, we're in! Roll Tide!
  18. Thank you, Cyclones! Roll Tide!
  19. OK, then not so much. I'll stick with my 'no thanks'...
  20. It's worth pointing out that if all cops were like kb4ns this whole discussion probably wouldn't have happened...
  21. That's genius.
  22. I think you might be surprised... Friend of mine dropped his on his concrete floor, in his house, shattered it. Took it to the Apple store to see what it would cost to fix, told them what happened - and they handed him a brand new one...
  23. Sorry, DWB - 'driving while black'
  24. Sounds like Germantown, where I've had friends pulled over for 'DWB'...
  25. So absurd to trouble law-abiding citizens over the self-destructive behavior of others. Once again we all lose due to a stupid 'war' that cannot be won and has no business being fought.
