My point for asking for studies regarding whether or not 'anti texting' laws actually reduce accidents is because while it might seem logical, it might not reduce anything. In fact, in the small study I referenced earlier, they found an INCREASE in traffic accidents due to the new 'anti text' laws.
So yah, before we knee-jerk and make MORE things illegal, let's make sure that unintended consequences don't rear their ugly head.
