  1. At least tell me you're a UK fan. Please. I beg of you. It's all I have left...

  4. C'mon, cut him some slack as that freedom comes at a high price - he has to live in Kentucky...
  5. They did with me.
  6. He said 'renewal...
  7. My 22 is bigger. I can fit an whole meatloaf in it.
  8. I don't do Walmart, but I did go to the bank today carrying! Ok, ok - it was the drive through, but it's a start...
  9. Ahhh, right. See Joe's answer above mine - my understanding has always been that once something is classified as a rifle, making it anything else takes some serious hoop jumping or is impossible...
  10. I think you'll be illegal unless you have at least 10 US made parts on it. Not only that, but if that barrel is 16" long, I don't think you can turn it into a pistol no matter what. Those who know, please correct me if I'm wrong...
  11. Got it! Finger printed June 5th, got it today - 49 days!
  12. Got it! 49 days from finger-printing to possession!
  13. Yep, until we break out of this two party system, we're screwed...
  14. Sure, but the point is, why? If you see that 'illegal' sign and choose to carry anyway (despite the obvious wishes of the proprietor) and get caught, the only potential outcomes are: 1] they get legal signs, or 2] you get in hot water and spend a ton of cash essentially to accomplish the first outcome listed above while hopefully avoiding fines/further punishment. Just not sure why people would push this issue - it makes HCP holders look petty and won't do a think to enhance our rights.
  15. That should be H&K's new ad campaign, "for people unable to control their own weapons..."
  16. That's your best bet, and let them know why. If I see that sign on someone's business, the intention is clear whether it's a legal sign or not.
  17. Hey canynracer, would you mind if we copied this well-written letter to send to Davenport or would it be more effective if we wrote our own??

    Now THIS is racing!

Very good and very expensive rubber...
  19. Whatever - it's a 'Glock foty', which means it's almost as desirable as the ever elusive Glock 7...
  20. Yah, dunno if it's easy/difficult to incorporate across county lines or not, but when we moved out of Memphis, part of the reason we moved to Arlington was the Lakeland 'buffer' and the fact that Arlington will not ever be incorporated into Memphis. So nice and peaceful out here...
  21. Saw it last night - even on a Tuesday night every showing was sold out! Crazy. Good flick, I enjoyed it - lots of tension in the movie. Bale kinda annoys me with his 'batman voice', but overall, very good. And yah, they'll have to retire 'the joker' now that Ledger's dead - he owns that role.
  22. Ha, no doubt. I remember when he was fresh behind the ears and new at Ardent - we older engineers used to rag him all the time. He's good people.
  23. Hahaha, nicely played. I've a G22, my first Glock was a G23. You're going to love it.
