  1. I carry my G27 in an Aholster in the front pocket every day, no problemo.
  2. Blaaaaahahahahahahahahahahaha
  3. $100 for a 500 you know isn't hot is a fantastic deal - do it!
  4. Roll Tide! Long time, many years of frustration, but now we're back!
  5. Glock AR?
  6. Yah, the comments about the performance of 5.56 are particularly curious as they are counter to what I've heard from literally every soldier I've spoken with about it's performance over there.
  7. nr_j0199_landing
  8. Money > sense.
  9. What so of moron walks in front of a car when someone is doing that?
  10. Ditto. Same for my DL's - takes less than an hour, usually about 20 minutes there.
  11. Well, I was all set to ship this upper to the manufacturer to take advantage of the lifetime warranty but hesitated (I'd really rather drop it off somewhere than ship it) and I'm glad I did - apparently Anvil Arms has closed shop (well, technically they were taken over by a creditor but it looks like the owner bailed and took EVERYTHING with him, including people's paid for firearms and accessories). So, now that sending it back to the manufacturer isn't an option, who's the real-deal AR gunsmith in TN? Hero Gear? Other options?
  12. I shoot the crap out of BB in my AR with zero issues.
  13. Man, I'm sorry to hear of this. I couldn't do it. It's not about guns, per se, but the restrictions of basic human freedoms states like NY embrace. Just couldn't do it. Good luck and God bless.
  14. I've been toying with the idea of selling my current truck and getting a late 60's-early 70's Bronco (either restored or original). I've always loved those trucks and they are great platforms to build into anything from a street ride to a rock crawler.
  15. My wife carries one - it's small enough she's willing to actually carry it. Breaking it in (few hundred rounds) isn't fun if done all at once. Not a fun gun to fire, but should be effective if ever needed.
  16. This time of year tragedy abounds as people get together to have a good time and invariably someone ends up driving who's had too much to drink. The following video is a BRUTAL reminder of what this sort of behavior can cause. Please - PLEASE - be responsible, not just for yourself, but for your friends who might try to drink then drive as well. WARNING: this video, presented by the Transport Accident Commission, Victoria (Australia) is graphic and brutal, but realistic.

    Early SKS

  18. This is going to do more harm to UF than almost anything else the coach could have done. Just imagine the recruiting...
  19. I don't see Strong being a viable candidate. I suspect CUM/Foley will hire someone like Kyle Whittingham.
  20. Possibly a sawed-off shotgun that's too short with no tax stamp (registration)?
  21. Come on, guys - do you really have to hope the competition loses a good coach so you can beat them? Hope Urban's OK.
  22. Great - GREAT - firearm. Congrats.
  23. Love my SKS, never have found an AK I liked better. For the record, with practice, someone using clips can reload about as fast as a mag change (though obviously with greater frequency considering the 10 rnd SKS capacity vs the easily available 30 rnd mags available for the AK). I'd not feel bad about only having an SKS if it ever became necessary. I've shot it quite a bit and am very comfortable with it, so that helps...
  24. For the record - Young's Double Chocolate is better than I remembered - double yum!
