  1. better late than never or who needs it?   http://backwoodshome.com/blogs/MassadAyoob/2014/01/14/sig-introduces-the-p320/
  2. Well done! Let us know how she shoots!
  3. thats the one. Right across from krogers and home depot. They also have the MVP varmint version with the "benchrest stock" . its a bit heavier and length of pull is shorter. Since I wanted a fast handling rifle to actually hunt with, I got the this one with the traditional sporter stock.
  4. Academy $499
  5. Just picked this up to do some Coyote hunting. This is the 20" barrel matte finish, sporter stock. Got a Magpul Gen 2 in there and it seems to work just fine. I haven't tried any of my other mags yet. Going to test it out on monday and will post a range report after. So far so good.
  6. finish is 99% picked up on a trade last week. I love these old revolvers..they really don't make them this nice anymore.

    Sig SP2022 9mm

great value and + 1 on what's already been said. its a very accurate pistol if you do your part. I like the grip angle as it brings the sights right up high (for me anyway). Traditional double action.
  8. I grew up there in the city in the 60's. So glad I'm here now.     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4ZQooPHHAA
  9. http://www.jacksonforlg.com/the-speech-that-rocked-virginia/   I would like to hear more of this from our politicians in Tennessee and for that matter in Washington.
  10. thanks guys!
  11. Times being what they are I bought 3 boxes of Tula ammo recently and took them out today to shoot in my Sig 250 SC. Up to this point I have never had any issues with the gun, unti now. Out of the 150 rounds fired,  I had 7 rounds that failed to fire. However, after waiting a sufficient time to ensure proper safety, I tried shooting the same rounds again and all 7 fired. I also had some Remington and Federal ammo that fired with no issues. I have read that some folks have light primer strike issues with the 250 but I'm hoping it was just the ammo. Of course I've shot Tula in my Glock 19 and never had an issue. Any thoughts?   thanks in advance,   ed
  12. 9mm, 38 special, 357 magnum, 45acp
  13. I have one and the first session shooting 200 rounds of various brands I experienced a number of stovepipes. I concluded it was me and not the weapon. My next session I made sure I was not limp wristing and keeping the gun in battery at all times and ran a couple boxes of cheap Tula through it. No issues. I think the gun was designed with an extra heavy recoil spring for its size (compare to a Glock lets say) That said, try only +p or 124/147 grain ammo and see if that works. If not then I would send it back. I'm well over 500 rounds with no issues.
  14. So I own two Glock 19's. One a gen 2 since the early 90's. While browsing the Glock website I found they would replace all internals for free. And would also refinish the slide for $45. They even upgrade the frame if you desire. So I shipped my Glock 19 to Georgia and wrote them a check to upgrade the frame and refinish the slide. Total cost to me $154. Glock customer service called and asked if it would be ok if they just replaced the gun with a new one. I was shocked and said hell yes! It shipped with 2 new mags in box...the works.   When I got it back 8 business days later I got the bright idea to sell it and maybe try something new. I'm so invested in trigger time and familiarity with this firearm and pleased with the service I'm keeping it. Just thought I'd share.   great weapon, great service.
  15. well done. How do you like the green mountain barrels? Thinking of getting one..
  16. I keep hearing "right wing extremist groups" ...what no left wing extremists exist? Whoever did it.. I hope they get the bastards.
  17. As if you weren't already about to vomit,...(video)       http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=2diNojgJF9c#!
  18. starting to see more 38/357 and 45 acp come back. still high but not too bad.
  19. My plain base model Henry lever in 22lr shoots very accurately and is not finicky about ammo. Its a great rifle for the money.
  20. You guys are awesome. I appreciate the the great advice.  In SASS I know all bullets must be lead only and the only round nose will feed properly in replica lever guns. So Casting sounds like it is a must learn skill as well. Thanks again and Ill keep you y'all posted.  :)
  21. I'm just getting into reloading after buying my ammo for the last 40 years. I found this kit at cabelas online. I intend to reload 38 special for SASS competition. I know I need handbooks, bullets, primers, brass (I've already got a bunch) , powder and I really don't know what else. I would appreciate any schooling or advice I can get.   Many thanks in advance
  22. dang, these guys are sneaky   : http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2013/03/21/here-comes-team-obama-carbon-tax/?intcmp=obnetwork
  23. me too ...but what a pistol. I too would like to see some pics.
  24. this whole thing has convinced me to start reloading .....when presses, dies and components are available again. Why I waited so long in my life to reload ..I don't know. But if I get the chance..thats where my tax refund dollars will go. After that I'll buy an AR. :pleased:
  25. I've got the HCP so I'm good there. Thanks for the info guys.
