These goobermint agencies evidently have all the power they need, because they are constantly changing the rules or making new ones. Until we the people set them straight and take back our government this country is going to look like the UK and Australia. The EPA bans lead, BATF bans this bullet, then this gun, then this and it never ends. The anti-gun, or control establishment is bound and determined to tell you where to go and when to go and how to go. They figured a long time ago that taking the guns would be ugly, but banning every bullet 1 at a time and eventually it is done. Kind of like eating an Elephant, 1 bite at a time.

They are the ONLY mushroom that I would identify and eat myself. Google some pictures and they look absolutely like no other mushroom. There is a shroom called a fake morel, but from all the pictures I have seen they don't look close. Also if you eat 1 or 2 of these delectable morsels of food, you will start looking for them more.

Will the styrofoam covers for outside faucet be enough protection for -9? Would additional insulation be wise? Been a long time since I have put a minus in front of an expected temperature that I was to be in. I thought that was reserved primarily for the folks north of the mason-dixon line. :woohoo:

Thanks for the post. My wife's only remaining uncle lives in Huntsville, Al. and is a WWII vet he is 89 and gets around pretty good. I would love to take him to this museum, we lived about 100 miles from N.O. but never took the time to go see it.Thanks to all our vets, we wouldn't have this great country without them!!

You are so right the roads go both north and south, east and west. I will never forget probably 20+ years ago and it had been a brutal winter in International falls and the news reporter was interviewing this fellow probably mid 70's and he said when spring comes I'm moving south. I thought is was funny that it took him that long to get enough of those cold winters. I was only kidding about the snow, I know it is a royal pain to deal with, when we live in Michigan in 67 my parents had a 65 buick convertible and my first chore every morning was to get a broom and sweep the top off as we didn't have a garage. Ya'll be safe and stay as warm as possible.

I know this isn't exactly hunting, but it is too. I haven't been in a place to hunt morels since I was a kid. I have done a little web searching and seems like April-May is good times to search for these delictable morsels. If you are a morel hunter give me your tips. Thanks Mac

Funny as I am sitting here I am watching, well mostly listening to a Seinfeld show on T.V. That's funny right there I don't care who you are. One of my SIL and BIL don't like Seinfeld, but find the A-team entertaining. When my wife told me this I said they are nuts!!

That's one of many reasons I don't live any farther north. When the water on the lake turns hard, you my friend have ventured too far into never never land!! I hope all the liberal dem's are enjoying their global warming. And yes I know they changed it to global climate change, I hope they freeze their arses off each and every shovel full. It just makes me feel warm inside when I see about 10 foot of this white stuff blanketing NY, Conn, Mass, and the rest of the liberal N.E. sorry for the rant!! I am sorry, but if you are able bodied you need to be working. 2 Thes. 3:10 says if any would not work, neither should he eat. Plain and simple folks. I recently retired and there is no telling how much money my employers spent to drug and alcohol test me over the years. I never understood why the workers paying the taxes should be drug tested and the freeloaders not be tested. I have no problem helping those that can't work for a mental or physical problem, but the freeloaders would be picking up trash off of the roads and doing all sorts of WORK. That is the problem, there are a bunch of lazy, babied people that don't know the meaning of getting up at 3am. and getting back home at 8pm, working in the rain, cold etc. Sorry for the rant, but one thing I can't stand is lazy!!

Hey David a much better Isis round would be the one's that have been sprayed with pigs blood. I have long contested a squirt gun with pigs blood would be pretty effective. In fact transport planes that normally carry water for forest fires full of pigs blood would probably put a dent in the uprisings!!

I also miss America. I bet that cop didn't shoot himself either!! I grew up in this same environment as in those pics and I can tell you it was a better place to be. When a 9 year old could go into the local Western Auto and buy a box of 22 shorts for $0.29 and better than that nobody thought this was a "bad" thing. You could carry a pocket knife to school, or on  an airplane for that matter, while folks lit up a cigarette and had a drink!! We have given our America away to folks that don't LOVE it like we do, so how do we get it back??

In Mississippi the MHP or sheriff's will get a game warden to be with them at road blocks for license checks because they can search without a warrant. They usually do this only during hunting seasons..

The very scariest thing about this is that people throughout the world are so scared of the U.S. dollar that they will try something like this!!

Moral to this is don't mess with old lady's either! They won't fight fair they'll just kill ya.

Hey Maroon, this is Great news brother. I hope this talk with your dad will make it easier to ask another friend or relative if God gives you that opportunity. We will keep him in our prayers and we want to know his progress. The promise of Heaven is what makes this difficult life worth living. Hope you have a safe trip and a good visit with your family.

Hey BigK, you forgot the trailer owner only has 1 or 2 tooth's. You know if the utensil had been engineered in a state that people had teeth, it would have been called a teeth brush as opposed to the tooth brush. I swear when we lived in Mississippi and they had a tornado or something, we all wondered where in the he77 they found these people.

Looks good. An addition for any utility trailer that helps if lights go out is the reflective red/white that they put on 18 wheel trailers now. You can get them at most parts stores and comes in very handy, a candle will make it glow.
