Small pistoll primers selling for $100.00 per 1000 on GB
Dirtshooter replied to a topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Deerslayer, you can get most LGS's to ship them for you, just have the buyer pay all or half of the cost. I asked my LGS that yesterday and he said he would ship for me. -
Hi guys & gals, found this and thought I would share this, fill in the prices you paid for your components and it gives you per round out to 1K rounds. Mods move this or delete if not per rules. https://ultimatereloader.com/tools/reloading-costs-calculator/

I think he saw a tiger and they are covering up who let it get out. Tiger haven??, The zoo?? It would be really hard to mistake a bobcat for a tiger, for 1 thing most bobcats don't have tails longer that 6-8" not 5-6'.

I totally understand that Mark. As I get older, I am much more careful than I once was. However I have always been careful. I reload in a shed also, it's my heated and A/C'd doghouse in case the Mrs. kicks me outta the house. LOL It is my domain, she knocks before opening the door, I am slowly training her, 49 years 5 months, 24 days, 23 hours but who's counting.

I was perusing on ammoseek. The top 20 calibers searched are listed. #1=9mm at 29.99% #2 =.223 at 11.55% #8=.40s&w at 2.80%

One has a choice carried by 6 or judged by 12, you pick. -
While I have it on my mind. I messed up the other day and stuck a .223 case in my sizing die, yea I didn't think it was funny either. Well since this wasn't my first rodeo I have a drill and tap and bolt to extract the stuck case. I usually stick a 30-06 case. Well I messed up the expander ball and couldn't find one anywhere. So then I decided to just buy another set of dies, and nobody had any. Then I went to the source ordered a set of small base .223 dies directly from RCBS cost about $5 more than anyone else, but I didn't care. Like the old adage 2 is 1 and 1 is none. I have extra decapping pins and such. I am also going to get another shellholder for each die set. So if you really want dies, try RCBS.

Hi all, just letting some of the non reloaders in on what it cost me to load 150 rounds of .223 Hornady .55 gr. soft points. I have about $28.50 for these 150 rounds. I just looked on Ammoseek and .55 gr soft points are $1.00 each or $150 for this many. I know the primers are from 2007, bullets from 2009 and powder from that era also. So I made about $120 for a few hours in my reloading room. Not bragging mind you, just letting you know that if things ever calm down, put you in a good supply of components or loaded ammo and you will feel much better when you lay your head on your pillow at night. Stay safe guys.

Ask Reginald Denny if he will stop for a bunch of thugs trying to hurt him again. His skull was fractured in 91 places as well as other injuries. He should have never stopped, making any of them a hood ornament. The thug that threw the cement block at him was convicted of murder in 2000 and got 46 years in prison, fine upstanding citizen. -

Biblical truths coming out. Isaiah5:20 What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, -
If you are going to at one time or another be IN the doghouse, just make sure it has heat and A/C. Mine does but it doubles as a place to reload. LOL

Well said Trip. You know what is odd, people from all over this planet are trying desperately to come into this great country and the little snowflakes and some movie stars are complaining and threatening to leave? Go figure. One thing I know fellows, God is in control and always will be. I never figured it would come to what we may see in a mere 49 days. Keep our country in your prayers, your head on a swivel and your loved ones within arms reach. Lock n' load you have it right, divide and conquer. That btw is the devil's tactic also. Single mom's raising kids, divide the family and it will fail. It was Khrushchev who said we will take over America without firing a shot. He may have been correct.

So David, tell us how you really feel!! Yea just because they are old, I am one, that doesn't make them wise, or honest or compassionate for sure. What someone should do is call the po po and ask them to see if they have the necessary permits to sell ammo and see what happens next sales day. LOL If nothing else but to hassle them, better yet if you have a friend that is a LEO, have him go to Academy and tell them they can't be gathering before the store opens or something to that affect. -

Sure acts like it don't he? Just another RINO. That is why all need term limits. Hold onto it and it may be worth 10 times that!! -
How Quickly Things Have Changed (September 11, 2001)
Dirtshooter replied to TGO David's topic in General Chat
Yes prayers said for all that lost loved ones or friends on 9/11. David sorry for your loss. This is actually a happy day in our family, our only son married his bride on 9-11-99. Let us all pray for this great country that God has so richly blessed. This country was founded on Christian principles and somehow as a country we have lost our way. Man has messed this country up so much, only God can heal it. -
I had 5 or 6 only saw 3 the last few days. I thought they had found a better B&B.
