  1. Prayers sent for you both. Not quite the way to spend thanksgiving though.
  2. Nice buck on public land, congrats.
  3. Several years back I bought lots of reloading bullets, my Dillon square Deal B press, lyman case trimmer just to name a few. Seldom even look on the site anymore. I have a checklist in my head and when I check that company off, I don't go there or spend any money with them. It may not hurt them, but it makes me feel much better.
  4. Yea and some even post pictures of their newly purchased items for all to see. Duh
  5. Okay just saw on Gunbroker, 1,000 rounds 9mm 115gr fmj winchester brand for $1,098. That is almost $1.10 each. That makes for some real expensive target shooting. Alright shooter you have 3 shots to get your gun sighted in, make them count!! LOL
  6. I know small pistol and small rifle primers have been going for crazy prices. Just saw on gunbroker 1,000 CCI 200 sold for $255 +20 for shipping. That is $0.275 per primer. Evidently this fellow needed to load some ammo pretty bad. I don't understand these people. You mean you don't have a friend who could loan or sell at a reasonable price a few hundred primers. I saw this same type thing when Hussein was in office. It is like Groundhog day with Bill Murray again, and again and again.
  7. Yea and I hear they have some really nice golf courses!! I mean if you are risking jail time, make it in a Fed prison, they probably have better food too!!
  8. Back during Hussein's admin when .22 was non existent. They had a gun show in New Orleans and was selling 550 bricks for $250, also heard of small auction house in Mississippi sold 2 550 bricks for $250 each. Try finding a box of 30-30 cartridges to hunt with. So very glad I started reloading years ago!!
  9. I think this count is correct 82 days of deer season at 3 does per day they can legally kill 246 does per year. I live in unit B I think I can kill 5 including all weapon types and have to buy an additional 094 license. You have to have lots of freezers or eat a lot of deer to kill 246 does!! Totally nonsense that they have a limit like that. And the CWD unit they are trying to kill all the deer. They don't understand CWD at all, I have heard in other states they would kill 700 deer and none had CWD. Good job game & fish boys!!
  10. Hey David I tell you what is crazy, 1 county west of you in all of unit L they can kill 3 does everyday during all the seasons I counted it up 1 time and it is crazy the numbers. But here in B you have to have a 094 license to kill 1. The TWRA is screwed up.
  11. Hey OP the answer is in your username. POP POP. This is a gun forum. LOL
  12. Congrats David!!
  13. I got one back in the late 60's and got rid of it in the 70's. It was a neat looking pistol, but reliable wasn't it strong point. The one I had may have had a 4" barrel, that one in the pic must be 14" long.
  14. Nice buck, that's what you get for being considerate of another hunter!! Kudo's
  15. I don't know what was bought up first, but on Ammo Seek the top ammo sought after was 9mm. .223/5.56 was 2nd and 3rd.
  16. You know what is amazing to me, that there is plenty of ammo out there for sale. Almost all at ridiculous prices though.
  17. I concur, sounds like either the wrong powder or not enough powder. If the bullets are hard cast, put a heavier crimp on it, there shouldn't be any setback.
  18. It is bow season, that will keep the one's you kill out.
  19. Good deal, kill all you can and maybe they won't take over the world!!!
  20. Guys I had to share this here. A buddy just sent this link to me. It is pretty funny. If you don't have any redneck in you, you will still find it funny. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzQ9KFClq0o&feature=emb_logo
  21. Evidently there aren't any? Heck it is hard to get anyone to do anything anymore.
  22. Sorry I meant not affordable, or more than I would be willing to pay!
  23. Or a sharp axe handy!!
  24. Sorry I don't want Alexa or any of the "robots" taking care of my weapons access!! Call me old school if you want. I also don't want my "smart" refrigerator or T.V. or my Onstar listening in on my conversations!!! That's what he calls lots of guns??
  25. Please Delete, given away. Guys going thru reloading brass and I have about 25-30 .357 Sig brass and about that many maybe a few more of 9x21 brass. If you want it let me know. I can give you a count if you want. Mac
