  1. Prayer lifted sir. Hope you have a speedy recovery and thank you for your service to this country!!
  2. It has been awhile but the usual jumping of hoops. Knowledge testing, I was certified because I worked at a chemical company. The shipping companies like Ups make sure you the shipper has properly identified, labeled, packed etc. So all they have to do is pick it up and ship it. You might ask the Gunshop how to be certified. Hope this helps.
  3. You need someone hazmat certified to ship them legally. Check with the Gunshop in Crossville I think they might do it, probably charge you.
  4. They look good together don't they. I was born between those two in 1952..
  5. I really don't see how they could accomplish this feat. The cops can barely keep peace in the streets as it is and I feel very sure that keeping the peace is going to get worse really quick with all this corruption in our election. These are perilous times we are living in folks. Be safe out there!! And have a Merry Christmas. God is still in control, regardless who may or may not be in control in Washington, D.C. !!!
  6. Pop Pop, That story was great your dad was like Isaac in the Bible telling Esau to get his bow and quiver and kill him some venison. I got a BB gun, lever action but not a red ryder, mine had a plastic stock and a 1/2 ton pickup would squat under the load of bb's I shot. LOL My first real gun was about 1961 I was 9 and got a 410 double barrel Stevens. I don't remember if dad traded or sold it and I got a brand new Remington 28 gauge semi-auto in 1964 some guy won on a raffle and sold it to dad for $75, we went goose hunting and I killed 1 goose, but the thing kept hanging up the spent shells. Dad found out they were bad about that and he traded that Remmy in on a 20 gauge Belgium Browning A-5 at Jim's sporting goods store in Carbondale, Il.that cost just a tad over $164 in 1964. I still have that beauty.
  7. I suspect if it is ammo, if gets sold quickly. A hardware store in Livingston, Tn. had quite a lot of ammo yesterday morning. I was getting a key cut and just walked the counter, I am sure it was expensive, but they had most of what folks are looking for.
  8. Thanks Beltfed. I have commented before that these people paying $200-300 for a thousand primers evidently don't have any friends that would sell, or loan them some primers. May you reap your just rewards!!! Merry Christmas!! And at pandemic prices you guys are looking at $10K-15K.
  9. I had never met Mike either, but always enjoyed his comments on here. Like someone said we are all getting older and we could be the next to go to our eternal resting place. Prayers lifted for his family and the TGO family that will miss him.
  10. Well the ammo and T.P. are about gone, food is the next for sure.
  11. Not even in your wildest dreams. First we have to settle this issue of President, then we can make predictions. If President Trump is re-elected give it 6-9 months to start seeing some ammo and components and 1-1.5 years before prices start to drop. But if the ammo company presidents are watching all this craziness they will just make the current prices the prices until the next price hike. They sort of have us over a barrel, kind of like gas prices, you can pay $4 per gallon and drive your car that you may be making payments on or you can not buy it and walk. Your choice.
  12. The only way to make this story better was if it happened in 2020.
  13. I just looked on SG ammo which is a good place to buy in normal times. They have limited quantities of most ammo, but had more .50 BMG ammo than anything. 38 special only ammo in stock was wadcutters at $0.90 each, with a 3 box limit. And that my friends is why I reload. I can load that same ammo at around $0.06 each only 150% cheaper. For all those people that talk about not counting my time, well the last reloading session I saved about $882.00. Not bad for less than a days work. I had to add this, just saw 10mm FMJ ammo on SG for $0.70 per round. This is crazy folks.
  14. You can make your own shot as well.
  15. The work begins at the pull of the trigger. LOL Nice deer Greg, you can't eat them ole horns anyways, make nice hat racks though.
  16. I would quit if my employer told me I had to take a vaccine. Like the old song says "Take this job and shove it"!!! Anybody wants my dose can have it.
  17. You don't have a neighbor that would appreciate a load of them placed neatly in his driveway or front yard??
  18. Grayfox, that is a myth. The only unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Suicide is not the unforgivable sin.
  19. Prayers sent for you both. Not quite the way to spend thanksgiving though.
  20. Nice buck on public land, congrats.
  21. Several years back I bought lots of reloading bullets, my Dillon square Deal B press, lyman case trimmer just to name a few. Seldom even look on the site anymore. I have a checklist in my head and when I check that company off, I don't go there or spend any money with them. It may not hurt them, but it makes me feel much better.
  22. Yea and some even post pictures of their newly purchased items for all to see. Duh
  23. Okay just saw on Gunbroker, 1,000 rounds 9mm 115gr fmj winchester brand for $1,098. That is almost $1.10 each. That makes for some real expensive target shooting. Alright shooter you have 3 shots to get your gun sighted in, make them count!! LOL
  24. I know small pistol and small rifle primers have been going for crazy prices. Just saw on gunbroker 1,000 CCI 200 sold for $255 +20 for shipping. That is $0.275 per primer. Evidently this fellow needed to load some ammo pretty bad. I don't understand these people. You mean you don't have a friend who could loan or sell at a reasonable price a few hundred primers. I saw this same type thing when Hussein was in office. It is like Groundhog day with Bill Murray again, and again and again.
  25. Yea and I hear they have some really nice golf courses!! I mean if you are risking jail time, make it in a Fed prison, they probably have better food too!!
