Who said you can't get primers?
Dirtshooter replied to gregintenn's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Boy Greg those are quite a deal huh? And over a day to bid. Danged I didn't know how rich I really was. -
Nice one Rob. I would much rather get surprised by a bear that a hog, them danged things are just plain ornery. Shoot every one you see, need to kill 6 out of every 10 out there just to keep the numbers in check.

Yea but the clouds bring rain.

I really don't believe they want to try that. It sounds all warm and fuzzy to "take your guns". But when it comes to that actually taking place, it won't be good for anyone. I don't think they want the "war" that would ensue should they try that. Does anyone else find it funny that they would use their guns to take ours? So it really isn't an issue that they dislike guns, they just dislike us having guns.

That is a good question David. Let's look at the number of gun stores in the U.S. about 55,000, the number of McDonalds is 13,785. So I got to looking at numbers, in 2017 it was said 12 billion rounds of ammo was sold in U.S. If each gun store gets equal amount that is about 218,000 rounds per store. If they are open 6 days a week this equal about 700 rounds per day. That isn't even a 1,000 round case. Plus there are stores that sell ammo and don't sell guns like hardware stores etc. While looking I stumbled on a 2017 story that said at least 100 billion rounds were stockpiled by U.S. shooters and that number could be as high as 500 billion rounds. If 500 billion is correct and there are about 72 million gun owners that would be a bit less than 7,000 rounds per person. The U.S. has 4% of world population, but has 40% of civilian owned firearms.

Try Dead Zero south of Spencer, I know they have sporting clays and think they have other clays.

That would be hard after all the years they have tried to hide the fact, like area 51 doesn't exist. -

Now do you really believe that our Gov't would tell us the truth about anything like this? Or tell the truth about anything for that matter!! -

Prayers for Nashville!!! Explosion reported
Dirtshooter replied to A.J. Holst's topic in General Chat
Just a thought here about the supposed missle. Why did the Fed's shut down the airspace over Nashville if there wasn't a missle? To keep RV's from dropping out of the sky perhaps? Just an observation. -
Summer 2018 our blower motor digital controller went out, hard to find it not in a motor. Bill was $800, he left old motor. I got the number off of motor and Amazon had exact part with twice the warranty for $200. Pays to shop. Sorry it broke in cold temps. In 2 weeks we replaced water heater and dryer bearing went out.

Dirtshooter replied to A.J. Holst's topic in General Chat
On natural news.com there was a video I don't have a link that showed a missle contrail seconds before the explosion. I watched it and rewound it a number of times. Anyone else hear or see this? -
Only people I feel for are the employee's.

You know when you think about how sad it is that most of us can't have a nice glass cased gun cabinet like folks used to have to "show" off their guns. Now they are locked away in a steel vault hidden from prying eyes. For those of you that have a nice collection, you need to decide what is going to happen to them when you die.

You seriously want to put in black and white so your wife knows how much you really spent on that new acquisition? The other day I had my pistol laying on the dining table and my wife said I have never seen that pistol to which I honestly replied "honey that is the one I have been carrying". That was a true statement, I just didn't say how long I had been carrying it. Plausible deniability.

Hipower, Thanks for going to Mike's farewell ceremony. Many times I have had the privilege of speaking to a loved one at a funeral. There are no words you can say that will make it better. However your presence is far more important, even if you don't say anything other that I am so sorry for your loss. The mere fact that you took your time, which is the most valuable asset any of us ever possess, and shared it with the family means the most. I was listening to an old Hank Sr. song yesterday and when I heard that steel guitar playing I thought of Steelharp. He will be missed for sure.

And he was right, they are essential items in order for the Patriots to fight against tyranny in their government!!!

So what is 9MM really selling for on secondary market
Dirtshooter replied to urdubob's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Reply to the OP, as much as they can get for it. Unfortunately that is the way it works. If one thinks a box of 50 9mm fmj's are worth $50 and someone else thinks they are worth $100, the first guy with the $50 isn't going to have any ammo until he coughs up enough cash to outbid the guy with $100. -
Hey Red try checking with your clay ranges near you. There are lots of folks that don't reload.

Pretty neat story, how an 11 year old boy bought it. Oh those were the days. I certainly hope this boys kids and grandkids get the chance to harvest their first deer with that gun.
