Not a carry gun,  but my Ruger New Model Single Six (first handgun I ever owned, given to me by my father in 1979) is probably the gun I am most comfortable with. It's still a dream to shoot, plus the fact that it's got major sentimental value to me.   Also, my Bersa Thunder 45UCP. Laugh all you want, yeah, I know... a Bersa. I hear it all the time from Glocksters and 1911 fanatics. Whatever. But I like it so much that I bought two. Feels right in my hand, and I've got plenty of shooting time with them, and ZERO reliability issues. My favorite daily carry.

Probably because GIFs are evil, especially if they are black and have pistol grips or large "clips". :taunt: Seriously, I don't know why. Seems to work OK when a gif is posted in the body of a message. Probably has something to do with parameters in the IPBoard software, or if you resized the GIF, or if the IPBoard forced a resize when you uploaded it. Animated GIFs and resizing do not play well together. I'm sure David will be able to answer this.

Any of the big 40mm "thumper" cans? I use them the most for (gasp!) ammo stockpiling-- 50 cal cans are nice for the range but too small for my tastes for storage, and the big honking 81mm and 120mm cans are just too freakin' huge.

That's pretty wishful thinking, unfortunately. I don't think we have anyone in the legislature or governor's cabinet who is savvy enough to court firearms companies into moving here. The sad reality is that it DOES take some government involvement to make these things happen. I think most Tennessee politicians are pretty clueless when it comes to realizing the opportunity they are missing by not actively pursuing this industry. Sadly, the state can whore themselves to Amazon and pro sports teams but can't see the potential windfall of commerce when it comes to firearms. The last really big-time coup in luring a company here was when Nissan moved their headquarters here in 2006.
