It's rare for me to go to the theater these days. Hollywood has been bereft of original ideas for at least 10 years now. I own approx. 1500 DVDs, and most of the movies I own have not seen the inside of a theater in at least 20 years. If it ain't in B&W or original Technicolor, I ain't got much use for it. Of course there are exceptions, but to say that Turner Classic Movies (and AMC in the old days) is one of my favorite TV channels speaks volumes for my taste in film.

wow-- no punches pulled there... http://www.armslist.com/posts/2643064/nashville-tennessee-ammo-for-sale--these-guys-are-the-reason-there-is-no-22lr  -
I know that my TGO subscription will expire around the middle of this month, and of course I intend to renew. However, I have seen posts here & there that occasionally refer to problems with renewing. In the hope that I can avoid potential snafus, I'd like to know: A-- will I get a "renewal notice" B-- if so, how far ahead of actual expiration date does the notice come? and C-- can I renew BEFORE my current subscription expires in order to ensure uninterrupted subscription?

While I like the marketing concept behind the "Gov't Guitar"series, the actual guitar doesn't do much for me... but then again, my guitar tastes run a little bit outside the box-- I'm a big fan of the "other" company that begins with "G". Good luck to Gibson though-- while I'm not much of a fan of Gibson guitars, I always like to see a local company do well. I hope they sell a bunch of 'em!

Haha-- made me think about a scene from "Black Dynamite"! http://youtu.be/uxcnVDM4V60

I have another update-- spoke to his brother again this morning, and things are much better. He is out of ICU and is conscious and cognitive. He is still under medical supervision and therapy, and will probably be that way for several weeks, however, it looks like the worst is over and he is on the road to recovery... some good news for a change.

I bought a bunch from Midway earlier this year, but they haven't had any in over 3 months. -
I'm waiting for the Lamar Alexander commercial proclaiming that he is the only viable candidate who can compete with Obama in the "Best Jug Ears" contest.

One well placed molotov cocktail and that paper nest would go up like the Hindenburg...

Oddly, enough, I happen to work with his OTHER brother (there's 3 of them). I spoke to him on Wed. (1/15) and he said that things are still pretty serious. However, without getting into a lot of personal details, he said that there has been improvement the last few days, and there's an outside possibility that he may be moved out of ICU this week, but they're taking it one day at a time. He also said that he knew that there are a lot of people pulling for him, including a bunch of his youtube fans. I asked him to please keep me posted of any significant news. Keep this family in your prayers-- they ain't out of the woods yet.

I saw one at On Target in Murfreesboro last week, however, it was priced at full retail. I'm pretty sure it's still there.

That's not too bad with the under-$10 shipping. It normally costs about $25 to ship the ammo alone.

I think it comes down to actually hating themselves and projecting it on everyone else-- for extreme femi-nazis men are simply a convenient target.

Haven't used it in a while, but I've had success in the past with CCS64 http://www.ccs64.com/ And if you're looking for a really GOOD Sega emulator, there's Fusion. http://www.segaretro.org/Kega_Fusion

Holster for people who work outside and sweat

I was thinking a Remora as well, although it's not the perfect solution for all applications, it should work in the situation that the OP described. -
Yeah, I guess that was out of hand... in retrospect a rather poor attempt at bad humor. Should I edit my original post, or should I apologize for being insensitive? I certainly wouldn't want to offend any British cigarette manufacturers, much less Kalifornians.
-
Mike, check your spelling a little closer next time... Are you sure you spelled the last word correctly? Pardon me, I was thinking about the British slang word for "cigarette". :stir:

I find that I drink much more Islay malts in cooler weather... autumn, winter, early spring. When summer comes I tend to move toward the Speyside whiskies, local moonshine (taken neat-- none of that fruity stuff!) and the occasional bourbon.

Pals around with Harry Reid, but secretly dreams of being Joe Biden's shotgun.

5100 and Dark Star are two of McClelland's best VA. blends. I always liked the regular Frog Morton, don't care too much for the "on the town" version. But at least the room note is a little nicer on the latter. Some of my favorite daily smokers are a couple of old Sasieni's, a few vintage Comoys, and a pre-transition Barling. Also have a couple of old Petersons that are fantastic pipes-- once I got them broken in (which seemed to take forever). Just recently picked up another Preben Holm-era Ben Wade freehand from the early 70's-- love those pipes, but they are definitely not walk-around smokes.
-
Waaaaay to many to mention... I like just about all styles, but tend to gravitate toward Islay and Campbeltown malts. Some of my favorites--

It's quite evident from your posts in here and in the pipe/cigar thread that we have very similar taste. :usa:
