  1. 642 and G30. Lots of ammo, 9mm, 223. Also stocked up on reloading supplies. Plan on expending it all before the deadline, then might donate the firearms to a worthy cause.
  2. We have a 20 month old Boxer named Maggie. She is my wife's dog, really! I did not want a dog, but we did the research anyways. Boxers make awesome pets. Ours is a 55lb lap dog. She loves people, our 13 yr old son, and other dogs too. You will be happy with your new dog, and you new gun!! Let us know what you get.
  3. Great piece, lotta kick. S&W 642. Tell her to grip it high for more control and less recoil.
  4. Must be an epidemic. I too just purchased a 642 last week. HAve not shot it yet. Shot one a couple of months ago, with regular ammo. Had quite a kick. Saw a thread that recommended gripping higher on the gun would help with recoil and control. Plan to try it this weekend.

    My new 642

Where did you pick up the pocket holster?
  6. I carry a G19 everyday. When I shoot my G34, I feel like a sharp shooter. Instantly turns 4"-5" groups into 2" groups.
  7. Glock 19(mostly OWB untucked), Kahr P9(IWB when dressed up and tucked), and most recent addition is S&W 642 lightweight .38(ankle or IWB), all with Federal Hydrashok. I have a waist pack for the Kahr, have used it in the hot hot summer. Not my favorite. Also carry in backpack when hiking in mountains.
  8. Untucked shirt. Also, in the summer when it is hot, I wear a small washcloth or handkerchief between my skin and the holster/G19. I am 50 now and no longer wear tight clothes. This helps too. I have a waistpack that I have worn a dozen times, but it is not as confortable as above. If I am wearing really revealing clothes or dress clothes where I must "tuck", I wear a IBW with a Kahr P9.
  9. .38 & .45, so far. Price of 9mm makes me want to start.

I purchased one of the Bargin Bin ARs. What a deal!!! It is absolutely flawless. Not a scratch or blem on it. It is a DPMS. I had not shot a rifle in more than 15 years. At 50 yards, groups were 2" or less. I am not bragging, it is just that sweet of a weapon. My 2 cents worth.
