  1. Andy Berke and his entire family are the most liberal jackasses in SE TN.
  2. Holy Cow, that is my papaw, I swear.

    Titans

Dear Lord, Is it always darkest before the dawn? Thanks, A Titans fan.
  4. Darn fine shooting, Eric. I'd like to see how I could do at 600+, like Froggy. I've shoot at 300 at the Chattanooga Rifle Club before, and done pretty darn well, staying right about 3/4 MOA. It gets a lot trickier further out than 300, though.
  5. Thanks for explaining that for Mr. Muttling, BigPoppa.
  6. If you feel comfortable carrying a fully loaded DA revolver, and uncomfortable carrying a pistol with one in the chamber, then carry the revolver until you are perfectly comfortable with the pistol. Heck, you may decide that the revolver is your best carry option.
  7. Sorry dude, I just ashed on yer gun. Classic.
  8. I am sorry that I will be unable to attend. David, I appreciate what you and the other organizers are trying (going) to accomplish.
  9. My pal. He came home with us at 4 weeks and 2 days old due to some pretty crappy circumstances. He was a sad little guy, and we didn't know if he was going to make it. Almost 4 years later: And the pics could definitely go on and on.
  10. Let me know if ya need a ride
  11. Don't give up just yet. What are the circumstances of the lost deer? No blood trail? Blood trail stopping and starting? How did you search for the blood trail? The best way is to find approximately where you shot the deer, and start walking in ever expanding circles. If it's a scant blood trail, start walking those circles where you last found blood. Make sure you carry a black light flashlight for low light situations, it makes life a lot easier when it comes to spotting blood. It's a tedious process, but it makes the hunt even more rewarding. I'll admit, I've lost deer, but it was usually my fault due to inexperience, although sometimes It doesn't matter if you have 100 years of experience, you'll go home empty handed.
  12. +1. Make sure you stick to your specified OAL. I think between 1.57 or 1.575 to 1.59 for .357 depending on the style and weight bullet you use.
  13. I tried my luck a few years ago with the electronic calls. Didn't have a very good success rate, although I did (coincidentally?) draw in several curious skunks when using it.
  14. Absolutely FANTASTIC smallmouth bass fishing at Dale Hollow lake. As a matter of fact, that's the home of the world record smallie. I think I would take that into consideration in my move. LOL
  15. My favorite handgun for hunting: Ruger Super Redhawk in .454 Casull w/ Aimpoint. It's an absolute beast on hogs and deer.
  16. Yes sir. That's my son at the pistol range.
  17. Welcome! Always good to see guys in this area on here.
  18. Sounds like the soothing sounds of every other Socialist government. We don't want to take ANYTHING away. We want to GIVE you everything. I'm sorry, but in a socialist government, you are promised everything, including the moon and stars, and when the suckers go all in, it starts. Why would you possibly need a firearm to defend yourself? We have you covered! Need a job? Why don't you work for us? blah blah blah. The best thing for everyone to do is listen to their common sense, and not let the Castros, Hitlers, etc etc etc etc of the world smooth talk you into buying their special brand of BS.
  19. Ooh Rah! Gotta love those BC's.
  20. lol, TN. I thought the vid was pretty funny, though Gun grabbers are likely to take it as the gospel about how those wild and crazy gun owners really do act.
  21. .
  22. Nope. shipped to FFL for transfer only.
  23. You can't go wrong with a CZ. Period. I love 'em all, though I still think the 75B is the finest 9mm made, including the Hi Power. As far as buying a HANDGUN in KY and bringing it back across the state line? Only if it's being sent by the seller (or FFL in KY) to an FFL in Tennessee to do the transfer. Better off to buy local, whether it's a gun shop or a TN resident, unless you're getting a helluva deal that would keep you in the cheap even after the shipping and transfer.
