We have not had TV for about 2 years. Hell, I didn't have it for 12 years until my wife went on maternity leave about 6.5 years ago. No big deal to me. Most of it sucks, anyway.

I have a copy I'd send to anyone on here that wanted to read it. Awesome book that will bring tears to your eyes. I very much get into the stories I read, but this one left me feeling drained. I couldn't even pick up another book for days.

  The KLR is a great dual purpose, adventure bike. However, dual purpose means that it does neither one excellently. If you are looking for woods / trail, go to a more conventional off-road bike. 

I will also add that a novice, and experienced for that matter, rider needs to be ridiculously careful on the trails. There are a lot of opportunities to be hurt in a split second. More so than on a street bike, IMO.

I love my bikes. I couldn't imagine not being able to do what I do as far as riding. Two 3,000+mile trips and one 4,200+ mile trips this year, Iron Butt rides, not to mention the short 3-400 mile trips.

I ride a 79 KDX400. That thing is a beast.

450 2 stroke is a HOSS. You may want to check out something like the CR230 and the TT-R230. Great 4 stroke bikes with plenty of oomph.

Guys, if it has teeth, it can bite. That said, probabilities are much higher with some than others. I prefer German breeds, and have had boxers since I was 9 years old. These dogs were bred for vicious, unrelenting cruelty. They are now some of the most gentle animals alive. I have a 8.5 year old male and a 1.5 year old female. The male was intensely trained from the time he was young, achieving a Shutzhund level 3. The female is going through much less "intense" training as obedience only (and has attended AKC incremental training for a year now). My 5 year old sleeps with them on her bed. They are intensely loyal to my family, and I do not think twice to leave my kids alone with them.

It is an "open to the public" type area and falls under ADA requirements. Lowes, as the example, are required to have a certain amount of handicapped spots based on how many total spots they have. Lowe's has no choice in the matter of whether or not tickets are written.
