Well I got my goodies in today :-) Gearhead Works TMF Powertac E5 Light Powertac E5 Switch Magpul Illumination switch http://powertacusa.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=189 I was hunting for a light that was well made and could load batteries from the front without the head being to long to hit my soon to acquire suppressor... This light is fantastic and the build quality is awesome... and has a lifetime warranty I ordered mine from amazon which apparently was the Gen II (700lm) they now offer the Gen III (950lm) Length: 126.5 mm. Bezel diameter: 25.4 mm. Body diameter: 22.0 mm. Tailcap diameter: 24.0mm. Has four modes firefly/low/medium/high/strobe all which can be changed at the headby the push of a button (not rotating the head) Here are some pics.. One thing I didn't consider and I will change later is the button needs to be indexed so its at the bottom if you wanna change the LM output easier .. Also I did add a little bit of electrical tape around the body to get a tighter fit in the TMF..Not a big deal though Here is one picture I took mounting the light back in the TMF further.. Clean look but also prevents you from changing the batteries from the front and changing the LM output

Well the freedom line isn't chrome lined they are chrome moly .... I can't really find much info on the PTAC barrels other than they are 4140 steel, have a 5.56 chamber and are 1/7 twist Possibly better QC etc

I've owned a full size and sub compact Maybe I got spoiled with my CZ and Sig double action pistols I felt the transition from double to single action was tough to get use to ... The double action felt a mile long to me ... Your mileage may vary They were both 100% reliable and still enjoyable handguns
