First, saying "the hell with it" would be an idiotic business decision taking into account they always sell most everything they get in stock.   Second, I have read the sign many times and it says "Ammunition sales are limited to three (3) boxes per person". It says per person, not per family. If they mean per family, they need to put it on their little sign. My wife and I are two separate people.

Same thing happened to me at the Wal-mart in Maryville. I think it was just a grumpy old libtard who didn't want to see anyone get any ammo.

I can see where that concern comes from, but there are people like me out there, who already have a job they have no interest in leaving, but have the training, experience, and desire to protect citizens in violent situations. I have a full time job but I could get away on short notice from time to time if someone was in a life-threatening situation. I'm not saying I would drop everything to go tell someone to stop disturbing the peace, but I would be willing to help someone in an emergency. That being said, thankfully my county has plenty of capable LEO's to handle the job. I've still entertained the thought of becoming a reserve officer though.

Same here. I generally batch load my match grade ammo but plinking ammo I don't bother. But unfortunately, I don't usually plink on anything that big. I guess it comes back to what you said earlier, it's just a better press.

I know a guy who has the standard model, not the Classic. He doesn't have near as much clearance as I do on my Classic. He says it won't auto-rotate with 22-250. I think it will with BLK and .223 though. But forget it if you're loading the bigger rifle calibers. That is, if auto-rotation is important to you. I sure like it.

This may not be an issue here but a lot of organic substances (maybe coffee, I don't know) are flammable. Not sure if that little bit is enough to cause pressure issues, but coupled with the reduction in case capacity caused by the filler, might be enough to raise your pressure on max loads. Someone with more knowledge please chime in here. Maybe totally irrelevant, but I'd hate to see anyone get hurt.

Probably doesn't apply to Hornet but with NATO ammo you can see if the primer is crimped or not. As far as I know, all military ammunition will have the primer crimped and to put in a new one you have to remove the crimp.

What are the major differences between IDPA and USPSA?

If you're in the middle or western part of the state that's probably true. For those who live in the mountains or in the foothills, a topo map can save you a lot of agony and unneccessary hard climbing because you can pick your route ahead of time based on what the terrain is like, or at the very least, have an idea of what you're up against. IMO, a topo map is definitely worth the extra couple ounces.

David what are your prices on 30 cal bullets and what different weights do you have?

Carrying an adequate amount of supplies is going to be the biggest issue IMO
