I think that bench will hold up to just about anything lol. I did basically the same thing except I laid my 2x4's flat instead of on their edge so I didn't use as much wood. Mine is also attached to the wall. Good looking bench MississippiBoy!

Depends on what you're looking for I'd say. The attendance today was about average but i'd say it will be ridiculous tomorrow.

I took automatic to mean fully automatic. as in Class III. Maybe they meant semi-auto. That would make a little more sense.

The thing that bothers me is that some gun owners actually do this. Not that they don't have the right to do so. It just doesn't make sense. And the only reason people say "we oughta go stand on the street and offer cash" is so we can get good deals on guns. Not because these people are commiting some cardinal sin.

The disgusting thing is that people actually do it. They got 1700 guns this way last May. Yeah the DMV SUCKS!!! But my wife applied for hers a few months ago and it came back in a few weeks! I was really surprised. When I got mine in 2010 it took like 6 months

I carry a Taurus Millenium PT140 that I've put about 1000 rounds through and I love it! Great gun, good trigger, very reliable and affordable. I would definitely recommend it for a daily carry gun.

For most of you guys out there I'm sure you would like for your wife/girlfriend to share your passion for the shooting sports you enjoy, whether it be target shooting, reloading, plinking, IDPA, etc. Sometimes you don't really think to invite them along on your ventures because of how many times you may have been turned down in the past. I would encourage you to continue trying to get her involved. It's time spent together, which most women seem to be fond of for some reason...and you get to shoot. Everyone wins. So what have you done today to involve your significant other in this wonderful sport?   I casually invited my wife to come down to the basement and hang out while I reloaded. She surprised me not only by taking me up on the offer but actually helping me. We loaded 50 rounds of .45 in less than an hour. Good times!!  :up:

Since you already have an M1, I would go with a couple more of the same. This way you can buy extra parts, ammunition, etc. to fit all three guns. If one goes down, you can always use it for parts.   This is in light of the recent gun control surge.

Same here. I bought Lyman's kit that comes with the chamfer/debur, primer pocket uniformers, crimp removers, etc.
