  1. Ok, so no whitetails.... Some dogs came into our field and ran all the deer off, then sat there and barked at us... Gotta have a talk with the neighbor... While we were sitting on the porch talking, my friend dared me to pick off one of the crows sitting on the fence posts in the field. 291 yards. 30.06 Remington, 4x16 BSA
  2. Ah, thanks for the DPMS tip. Looks like I can get everything I want there for less than 1500. Who is a close DPMS dealer? Hero gear?
  3. Any ones that I might be able to get the base rifle for about 5-800?
  4. Hey guys, looking for a new hunting/target rifle. I've got a 30.06 Remington that's pretty accurate but I'm looking to get something a bit more sporty. Looking for one in .308 with a heavy barrel, adjustable stock, and a nice action with at least 10 rd mags. Any suggestions on one that fits the bill or where I might start to build one? -Mike
  5. Congratulations on the new job.
  6. Nope. If they run your tag, all that comes up is the VIN, registered owner, address, registration number, expiration date, and tag issue date. No other information about the owner comes up. Now, I could take the name and address and find the registered owner. Showing me all of his information. DL #, permit status, expiration date, DOB, Social Security number, etc... But That's not supposed to be done unless requested by the officer. -Mike
  7. True. Tennessee has the permit status in the information that is pulled up when they run your DL. When I was with the Highway Patrol I was required to inform a Trooper on the permit status of an individual.
  8. Mike.... er. Mike?
  9. Wow. Great read! Great article. The truth shall set us free.
  10. Awesome! Who is the anchor? I love it at the end. "no, it's not..." F***ing awesome. As stated above... God save us from our government.
  11. Similar. weird....
  12. Hey Brodie!
  13. My area isn't too bad. Now where I work is a different story. I work for one of the largest indoor shopping centers. I can't tell you more though... It might compromise my security and I might have to worry about high powered rifles and gang bangers...
  14. "You won't be voting Democrat again!!!"
  15. I have a stripped down RX-7 with plans for a Chevy LT1. The car's current state. 5.7l V8 = Torque = Good Ultimate shop cat. Looking to pick this up later this week.

    what do you do?

I've been in sales for the past three years. I quit my job on Tuesday though. Currently I'm working on people's cars out of my garage. Fun work, but certainly no career. Looking to get on with CSX pretty soon.
  18. Sounds good. I will see if I can make it up there. I probably won't shoot, but I will gladly come up and socialize for a while.
  19. Any particular reason you chose SOB carry?
  20. Good to see there aren't any TN names on there... Hopefully It won't go through.
  21. I was wondering why I didn't hear from you. Moody and I were over in Murfreesboro most of the day.
  22. Kershaw leek woulf fit into your specs. It's not a tanto but it's useful.
  23. I listen to it when nothing else s on the radio. I do listen to G. Gordon and Phil though. I'm not too big a fan of Kevin Miller, but I think he's better than Steve Gill. My morning show is gone now. I used to listen to Glenn Beck on 1510am, then they replaced him with Steve Gill. Glenn was much funnier and informative.
  24. On Target in murfreesboro offer the class. It's over on Thompson ln. www.ontargettn.com
