  1. Looks like I I'll be salting the hide when I get home. Thanks for the links! -Mike
  2. Wondering how hard this is to do. I shot two the otherday and one has a beautiful hide on her. How hard is it to tan a hide? If it is a pain in the rear to do who around Nashville does this for a living? What can I expect on price? Thanks -Mike

    Gran Torino

Went and saw it today with my buddy. Wonderful movie.

  5. Castle doctrine. No duty to retreat.
  6. repost. Good video though.
  7. I couldn't imagine giving something like that away.... On the other hand. It's a nice addition to your collection. Enjoy it. Oh, and post pictures. Now.
  8. Great read! I hope he gets published.
  9. If you look at the pictures they post for each rifle they show the first 3 or 4 numbers for each one.

I shoot a 45# Bear Kodiak Magnum. I picked it up for 80 bucks off of ebay. It's been extremely fun to shoot. Either going out to put a few in the target or hunting a little bit with it. Very fun. Edit: Dunno how far Buena vista is from Triune but you are more than welcome to come out and shoot mine all you want to see of you like it. -Mike
  12. x2 Minus a wife. How well would that YHM phantom work with the 5.56 of you got it in the 7.62 caliber? That would seem to be the best route so long as it worked ok on the small calibers. I could get it then swap it between my 7.62 savage, lr-308 and ar-15. Anyone have any ideas? -Mike

  14. Was asleep, sick, in my bed. Been sick since Tuesday. Nasty stuff. Combo, head cold, burning throat, upper respiratory mucus factory, sinus infection, migraine... beast. Still not over it. I hate it.
  15. Anyone else having problems getting the site to come up? -Mike
  16. I have never ever seen a tap for sling screw threads. If your smart about the application you can't tell it's JB'd. Be smart about it. Don't just goop it in there and expect it to look nice. BTW, there's nothing redneck about fixing something yourself. That's the majority of the problem with today's society. They look to "someone else" to fix everything for them. -Mike

  18. I let mine get glued in. I couldn't think of any reason that it would need to come out anymore so i let it get stuck.
  19. I got one today...

  21. I had to do this on my 710 when the front sling mount came loose. JB Weld. Drill the hole so it can accept the sling pin. Mix it up. Scoop it in and press in the pin. Let it set for a day or so to let it fully cure. Worked like a charm for mine. -Mike
  22. I wear Doc martens at work. If you go this route, shop the industrial line. They far out pace the regular docs in fit, finish, an durability. I have two pair that I wear. A brown pair that I've been wearing day in and day out for 5 years, and a black pair that are going on 2 years. Both get used on railroad ballast and offer great ankle support. These are the boots I own. http://www.dmusastore.com/pc-944-16-8836zhud-gaucho-volcano.aspx

    Kel tec pf9

I'm trying to decide between a keltec pf9 or a bersa .380. How do they compare size wise to a glock 23? I am looking for this to carry to work. most likely in an ankle holster. Work has a no carry policy so it is essential that it is not seen. Thanks. -Mike
