  1. By corking the barrel and letting it sit it opens up the possibility of forgetting about it and leaving it in there a few days or longer. When you return and empty it. It will have removed every bit of lead, copper, and powder fouling... along with quite a bit of the rifling.

They're not that bad.... I have a 340pd that I shoot on a regular basis. I like it. It is always fun to load up 4 rds of 38spl and one .357 and watch people almost drop the gun though.
  4. I never got that far. I got mad and hung up before they told me a price.
  5. If you don't need the rails, save your self from the monstrosity Vltor created to go on the Socom II. Sage and troy both make replacement stocks that give it the M4 style looks. -Mike

  7. Good luck getting one. Chey-tac isn't too fond of letting their "good" rifles go to civilians... You can buy a "sporter" edition, but no cool toys for you, from them. I don't know if they have changed their offerings recently but when I was looking to get one of their M200 rifles they asked if I was a civilian then offered one of the sporter rifles when I said no they told me that was all I could get.
  8. x2 Who is it?
  9. Got that right. All that stuff holds heat and is very uncomfortable. My SHTF getup. Currently waiting on a mag pouch to be made for it, open top quad shingle with kydex inserts. 10. Use the trust. Put all names of anyone you want to be able to have legal possession of the rifle. Skip the signoff, picture, fingerprints, and send in your money. Engrave the rifle. Wait. Get your stamp and have at it. -Mike

  13. Negative. We are not posted. Nor would I imagine we ever will be.
  14. Scrimp, save, and scrounge, folks. Forgo eating out, put the bag of chips back at the grocery store, save your pocket change. Buy ammo. Buy the cheapest ammo that will reliably function in your weapon. Sacrifice if need be. This is something that is an investment into yourself. It will be worth every penny and every bit of effort you put forth. -Mike
  15. To tell you the truth, I don't know. I'm up on the fence about it. -Mike
  16. Is this what you are looking for?

  22. Look at the cz-82. It's one of the finest(IMHO) Mak's you an get. It's a little bigger but the trigger is smooth and light, and you get a 13rd double stack mag. I've been eyeing an italian mauser in 9mm mak too. And CALL me. Bro.
