  1. Want To Borrow I'm driving to Wyoming at the end of January and I will be using the bed of my truck to transport all of our supplies and clothing. I was hoping I could borrow or rent a topper from someone for about two weeks so I could have some protection against the elements and less than honorable folks. Topper would need to fit a 2005 F250 with the long bed. Any help would be appreciated. -Mike 615 424 8937
  2. Why a holster on the nightstand?
  3. You didn't look very hard... We had a half dozen or so laid out at 825-1050. If you don't see it.. ask. Props to David and Joe on this one. I was exhausted just doing my end of this and managing our booth. I look forward to seeing this progress as time goes on. It definitley has promise. To those with quantity/inventory complaints.. There were quite a few of us who don't do shows at all and we are on a steep curve figuring out what to bring and do. We learned quite a bit from this experience and in the future plan to have a better showing. -Mike
  4. RMHero for me. Been playing for a bit. Level 18 Prestige 1

    Hit a deer...

  6. Well, I didn't. But my buddy Glen did. Clipped a 4 pointer on Nolensville rd. Called me up and asked me what I could do for it. So... with a big chain, big prybar, and an even bigger tree we were able to sort out the damage. Before. During. After.
  7. Mine is RMHero on PS3.
  8. I like the campaign mode. Excellent story and flows very well. It is freakishly disturbing fighting through America though.
  9. I'll be on it on the PS3.
  10. No benefactor status.
  11. :D
  12. It's a 12x12x3 follower block out of a rail car buffer system. I don't know what type of steel it is but it is hardened and doesn't crater unless AP ammo is shot into it. -Mike
  13. That's a big no. I'm just going to adjust my design to where this won't ever be a concern at longer distances.
  14. I'm going to modify mine to where they won't swing out. I've got to design a limiter to keep them swing ing back but never out. Honestly they work great, and deflect the rounds into the ground. I just have revise my design to keep this from happenning again.
  15. Shooting lead nosed ammo, not FMJ. Never said it was my brightest moment...
  16. I designed them to slope down and back, deflecting into the ground, also to swing back to dissipate some energy. I figure I shot while it was swinging back towards me resulting in shooting at nearly perpendicular angle to the steel. BTW, that FAL is awesome.
  17. Or don't stand too close to the steel target you are shooting.... I was out shooting my steel targets I made a few months ago. I was about 25 yards away when I shot and a piece of the round ricocheted back, hitting me in the side. Unfortunately I neglected to put on my vest when I went out back to shoot. I figured I was only going to shoot one mag and I didn't need to bother this time. Luckily it didn't penetrate any deeper than it did. A minor injury that placed a few inches to the right could have been serious. Wear a vest or move back when shooting steel. Rifle caliber was .308
  18. That or the claw end of a hammer works well.
  19. The turnout was amazing. I have never seen the store so full. For a while it was almost impossible to get to the front registers. Thanks to all who came out. -Mike

    ticks?

I use permanone. It's been no issue as to scent while bowhunting and keeps those seed ticks to a minimum.
  22. 75-90 gear oil or heavy grease. both are cheap.
  23. Well.. You're just jealous... Or something...
  24. I don't go for short beds...
