  1. Not a flake so far. Out In Murfreesboro now. I'm not worried, we rarely get over 3-4" here. Even if we do I've got wood stacked high and lots of beer. No worries about work since today was my Friday. Here's to the "impending" whiteout.
  2. Black class, I'm not the biggest fan of the red class knives or most of the blue class knives. If you do decide to try one I highly reccomend picking from thier black class extreme duty knives.
  3. I carry a benchmade because it is one piece of gear that has done everything I've asked it to do and has not failed me yet. I've carried a lot of knives, gerber, crkt, sog, microtech, etc. I've found tha most of them are lacking in one area or another. Be it blade design, steel type, ability to take and hold an edge, or overall sturdiness. I am very hard on my knives and I have found that benchmade makes a knife that works well for my needs. Mike
  4. I carry my m&p 9 with a streamlight tlr-1 in a raven concealment holster no problems. It adds minimal weight and ensures I have a primary light on my pistol if I need it.
  5. He shot it with a Mossberg .270. I shot my red deer with a Savage .308
  6. It was really deep. We dug ourselves out quite a few times when we got stuck.
  7. I feel great. It was the trip of a lifetime made even better by the company I had.
  8. No, didn't get a cheesburger at billy's. I did get an Elk burger at the Wort though.
  9. Heh, I had to make it count. I just used all my vacation time for the entire year.
  10. Had an awesome trip. Left two weeks ago headed to Jackson, WY to do some snowmobiling, skiing, and snowboarding. My friend, his wife, and I embarked on our 30 hour trip out. Had a blast. It was absolutely beautiful out there. We got in right before we got 5ft of snow. Rocked our faces off. We also got to go the National Elk Refuge right there outside of Jackson. Very cool, lots of wildlife to see. Bighorn Sheep, Elk, Bison, Moose, coyote, wolves. Once we were through in Jackson, it was on to our next stop. We were invited to the Big Horn Ranch in Exeter, MO. We went to hunt Red Stag. They were clearing them off the ranch and wanted us to shoot several of the females(hinds). After a few days of seeing nothing but Whitetail we found them. I ended up shooting a 230lb hind. My Friend got two Sika, which they were also clearing off the ranch, and his wife shot one Sika. Some pictures of our trip. Lots more pictures here - wyoming pictures by rmikemcd - Photobucket Our friend Dave who is a guide out in Jackson tearing it up in an open meadow.
  11. Or not...
  12. We loaded up about 20 shells worth and fired them at cardboard silhouettes. Not only were they a pain to load, they weren't effective at all. Most (estimating 90%ish) went through the cardboard sideways or just stuck in the target. As far as them being AP, They would probably work on a flak vest or soft armor when loaded up properly. Hard armor would not be affected by this at all I wouldn't think. I wouldn't bother trying to load them for serious use. Novel idea, highly ineffective out of a 12g though.

    ARvsAK

Then that's a good price. The third one has a much more functional rail on it though if you can score it.

    Gas Piston AR

I like mine. It is an Adams conversion. It definitely keeps the receiver cooler and the bolt cleaner. It's a novelty though. I've not had an issue with any of my DI rifles. But a cool bit of gear none the less. -Mike

    ARvsAK

Daniel Defense make one of the nicest out of the box rifles out there to date, IMO. I own one of their M4's with the 12" omega x rail on it and it is spectacular. -Mike
  17. Haha English English vs American English world of difference huh?
  18. I'll post pictures when Moody gets my camera back to me. It's awesome. It's a one peice made from a railroad spike. It has my name, craft, and ID number scribed into it. It's truly a work of art. The guy that makes them has only made about 15 of them total so far.
