  1. I have the Apex DCAEK kit in the pistol. It's fantastic. Especially for a drop in kit.
  2. You could get some decent side shields if they already fit close to your face. if not I'd look into a good pair of prescription glasses. Wiley-x makes several styles that would fit the bill. Of course there are many other industrial suppliers of prescription safety wear too.

Well, We are in there now, so come on in and join the party.
  4. Well, I took and stippled the front strap too. Also my Warren sights came in today. One dot front with a plain rear.
  5. That guy looks too much like Danny Bonaduce. Seriously though Doug does some very nice machine work though. I'd like to have a M&P9L with a Burris Fastfire on it. http://www.migunowners.org/forum/showthread.php?t=83753&page=2 http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=49263
  6. It's only a piece of plastic.
  7. I thought about taking a step bit to it. I was concerned with chewing up the entire bottom of the pistol, cracking the frame, and turning my hand into grated cheese.
  8. A sharpie and an x-acto knife. You can get a hell of a grip on the magazine with it. I wish I had done all of this sooner.
  9. Decided to do some stippling on my M&P. Picked up a $10 woodburner from walmart so i wouldn't mess up my nice soldering iron. It went pretty easy. I practiced on a spare AR-15 grip and the extra backstraps I had. I got done with the stippling and decided to cut the bottom of the mag-well too in case I had a malfunction that would require a forceful removal of the magazine. I also smoothed out and raised the area under the trigger guard so I could get my fingers a little higher grip on the front of the pistol. Got the mag release too. All in all I have about two hours tied up in it. I might do some more stippling on the front of the grip but I'm undecided right now. Results. -Mike
  10. I have today off as an option. I chose to go in tonight to capitalize on some overtime though.
  11. I'm interested when you figure out a price.
  12. I can't recommend Arsenal enough. Great rifles. Super high quality.
  13. Anyone else here a transformers fan? Played the game? Or am I just a huge nerd? If you are sitting on the fence on this game it rocks. It's not anything like the prior 2 titles. It was made for the gen1 fans. good styling, modernized a bit of course. but still very good likenesses of the characters. GREAT storyline, It's the events leading up to the first season of the tv series. And excellent gameplay. Two big thumbs up. And I was hoping someone else here was playing as well, for the online multiplayer part. RMHero on PSN. -Mike
  14. Brown bear is fmj lead core with a lacquered steel case.
  15. Wyoming is nice but you need to draw for a hunt. I went to Idaho to get an over the counter license. I would recommend a guide. My buddy and I hiked all over the place to find them when we could have gotten a guide and at least pointed us in the right direction. Bring a light rifle. I took a savage model 10 and i wanted to throw that thing off the side of a mountain at the end of our trip. Just needed to be restated. Bottom line is it was a lot of fun. i got to see a beautiful part of America. And even though I didn't get to bring home an elk I will definitely go back in the future. -Mike

I think you can do a group chat on AIM. It's been years since I've used it though.

  19. ....the designer of the gun had clearly not been instructed to beat about the bush. "Make it evil," he'd been told. "Make it totally clear that this gun has a right end and a wrong end. Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sorts of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." - Douglas Adams

We've had it before. It went largely unused.
  21. Glad you got everything sorted out.
  22. I know what it was about. I just didn't see why it was an issue.
  23. I've been carrying my 9051 for about a month now. It opens much more forcefully and has much better ergonomics. The blade is a bit wider and is still just a stout as the 9050. I love the bigger open button. The pocket clip has been moved also so it rides about a half inch lower in my pocket. GREAT knife.
