  1. Nice rifle. Just a quick question concerning your load. Do the .308s not have a problem with bending the op rod with too heavy a bullet? I know the .30-06s have had issues when you try to shoot anything over a 150gr. Mike
  2. This would be a disservice and an insult to our men and women who took it upon themselves voluntarily to join.

    Leasing?

Stellar lease deal is an oxymoron. With all the nice used vehicles available right now why not search for one that suits you? Then you will at least have something for your money. My 2c.
  4. He wasn't a SEAL. Or even in the Navy. David, sounds like a fun trip. I must have just missed you at the store. Mike
  5. I love Wyoming all year round. No place like it. I attribute it to a bunch of dumb asses out driving with no idea what to do when stuff falls out of the sky, no matter what the season. Mike
  6. Because I work 3rd shift and it's really dark. It comes in handy in many other situations as well.
  7. Its not uncomfortable at all. Everything rides properly. My keys are very simple. Just the truck ignition, toolbox key, and remote fob. They usually get tucked in my belt. Pocketknife goes in my right pocket clipped to the top. Flashlight is clipped on the offside pocket. Phone is in my offside pocket. Wallet in the rear pocket. Everything has it's place. I don't go absolutely everywhere like this. Just most places. My location and time period I am at work has a lot to do with what I carry on me. Mike
  8. How is the upper availability, Jeff?
  9. This seems to be the default end to your arguments.Might as well tell us to stay off your lawn while you're at it..
  10. Where I live and where I work are polar opposites. True it's not likely for me to need my carry stuff when I'm out in the county. But where I work is another story. Look around the area of Nolensville Rd and I440. Look like a place you want to be at 2am without anything? Mike
  11. Bring on the cold! I hate the summer heat and humidity.
  12. <-- is still limited by the death grip of his stocked shotgun.
  13. It's safe here unless Kegger is around.
  14. Glad to entertain.. Sort of. You never know what or when stuff will happen. Mike
  15. Did Ms. Cleo tell you that? Call me now!
  16. I don't play around. Equip yourself. Maintain a mindset. Fight. Win.
  17. M&P 9 2 spare mags J frame in pocket K frame snub on ankle. Rifle and accouterment in the truck. I've never heard anyone who had to defend themselves complain of having too much ammo.
  18. Me too. It's expensive if you wait..
  19. I took a deer the year before last with my 1911. Corbon DPX. Gt her right behind the shoulder through both lungs and the heart. She ran about 30 yards and dropped. Shot here at about 35 yds. Mike
  20. If you're going with the mossberg you shouldn't run a pistol grip. You won't be able to manipulate the safety while maintaining a grip. I voted a regular stock. Keep it simple. Aftermarket accessories rarely add functional value to shotguns.

    The Road

  22. Yep, needle decomp for tension pneumothorax.
  23. Fixed that for you. I'm only dangerous to friendlies with power tools.
  24. Both sides were trimmed up. There were ragged flaps originally.
