  1. I don't know what I'm going to do with the old press. I'll probably keep it just in case I want to work up a small batch of something. They are running the free bullet offer til the end of December. Yes the workbench is a much better location for the press than the shelf was. I basically had that because I didn't want to drill into my work bench until I knew what I needed, was going to get, and if I even liked reloading at all. Now that that's settled, it's there. It's very sturdy. the workbench weighs about 500lbs so it's not going anywhere. Jeremy, I looked at quite a few presses before I got mine. I played with some Dillon's, the Hornady LnL, and an RCBS Pro 2000. I liked the Hornady best of all. Ultimate Reloader is a good place to look as well. Gavin has quite a selection of presses and a ton of information on his site. Mike
  2. You don't get gassed near as much with a piston. The additional noise from the vented gas is negligible in the long run.
  3. http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f268/rmikemcd/343ba7eb.jpg Hornady LnL Progressive Got it setup and loaded about 200 rounds on 9mm to break her in. I still can't believe how smooth it's operation is. Looks like a case feeder will be in the works soon. Mike

  5. I got mine for 9.99 at walmart. Can't beat it. Mike
  6. I own both. The piston is cool, but it does nothing a DI gun can't do cheaper with less weight and a less noticeable recoil impulse. Mike
  7. Did you loosen the set screw? A hammer and a punch was used in setting mine. use lots of light taps. you can bugger the sight up pretty easy. Mike
  8. Mike

    Mp 9MM FS vs G19..

I have both. I've sold two of my M&P's but I kept buying another. So it's here to stay. Both are great pistols and both have their strong points.
  9. Yep, PMAGs and AR grips are your friend. Mike
  10. Don't worry about what you look like. Go shoot and have fun. That's the important part. Mike
  11. Or, works in a severely f**ked up part of town, at a bad time, where there are gunshots heard nightly. I'll stick with what I have. Mike
  12. I ride quite a bit. Currently waiting on some parts to fix my Honda 400EX right now. Ended up toasting the motor last time I was out. Mike
  13. 2nd on the Book Den in Franklin. That place is awesome. I'm midway through these books right now. The Federalist Papers Level 26 Plague of the Dead For us the Living Walden I'm up for a PIF TGO book club. Currently looking to read these books. I've got them in my shopping cart on amazon, but If you guys have them and don't mind sharing, it would help save some money. 14. I had better results calling him directly. The website is kind of weird.
  15. Had fun. I didn't shoot as well as I had hoped. Got sharpshooter in SSP and Marksman in SSR. Had some ammunition trouble with the revolver. I was using some ammo I had taken with me to a class and it had gotten rained on and soaked through. What a surprise it was when I got to chamber #2 and got a click instead of a bang. Maybe next time I can get into sharpshooter with the revolver. As usual, I had a blast. And regardless of the score I was happy to be out on such a nice day shooting. Mike
  16. I've had better results stippling the frame than add on stickers or tubes. The hole is there to let debris fall out of the sear area and to aid in magazine removal if the pistol double feeds. I don't see the logic in the plug as you cannot possibly get a magazine stuck in there. I guess it makes people feel better. Mike
  17. Www.ezmoonclip.com is the website. Seems to be a good product. No tools needed to load or unload and no worries about bending them. Mike
  18. Moon clips are the ****. I highly recommend them. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/handguns/42982-sending-my-s-w-586-off-some-work.html And this is what you need to load and unload the clips. Saves your fingers. http://moonclips.com/cart/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=120&cat=.45+acp+-+S%26W++Moon+Clip+Tool It is well worth the $50.
  19. Perhaps I should have said, "Nice hardware", being that you seem to be a little sensitive about your hair.
  20. I was commenting on the staples. Not your scalp. Mike
  21. Shiny...
  22. So this won't be a belt holster for you? Mike
  23. You seem to do that quite a bit... Looks like an awesome holster. Let me know how it works with armor. I can't use my raven with my plate carrier. I've been looking for other options than my 6004. Mike
  24. I always buckle up now. Pain is a great reminder that stupid hurts.
  25. Hate to dissapoint.
