AK-74 friendly?

Ever shot a rifle indoors? It's not an enjoyable experience.

For your first rifle, don't build one. Ak's are not like AR's, you cant just snap them together. Any particular reason as to the choice in stock? Mike

Thanks, Leroy. I usually crimp the hell out of my .38 loads to try to increase the pressure, burn efficiency, and to try to combat the grime. I use lubed 9mm bullets in my reloads with power pistol and I don't have any smoke cloud at all. I'd like my .38 loads to be more like that. Mike

Lead has much more resistance in the barrel than a jacketed bullet so it increases pressures. Also if you push lead too fast it will melt the bullet and lead up your barrel like crazy, also bringing with it some serious pressure issues if it leads up too much.

At 200 yds The difference in ballistics will be minimal.

I need to ask you why you think an aimpoint is horrible for low light. It is a "tubed optic" but you don't really look "through" these types of sights. You are supposed to use these with both eyes open increasing your feild of view over an irons setup where you are trying to bring multiple focal planes into focus.
