    CZ82, My new toy :D

One of my favorite pistols is the cz82. Good purchase.
  2. One of my 870's broke an ejector spring tonight. Where can I get this fixed in the MidTn area the soonest? Mike
  3. For hogs, id say a lever 30/30 would be good. A 7.62x39 AK would work nice too. Hornady makes a good ballistic tip round for it.
  4. Oakley's

    H&K pistols

I wasn't referring to the customer service. I was referring to HK's disdain for civilian sales.
  9. I like that Carl has been rocking a Blackwater shirt.

    H&K pistols

Good guns. I personally wouldn't own one due to HK's politics though.
  11. I'm working on getting a 12" saiga built right now.
  12. I'll have a new toy out there for the shotgun match. Should be fun to run the course with a 14" 870.
  13. 20g buckshot is just as effective as 12g buckshot. Knock down power is bull****. Shot placement is king. I won't go into how dumb a pistol grip is as we have had that argument more than a few times. I would recommend a good 870. As has been said you can find used police guns for a great deal and most have not been shot a whole lot outside of dept yearly qualifications. Whatever route you go with. Once you buy it, shoot it. A lot. put at least 200 rounds through it at target from 3-4 feet to 50 yards minimum. Find out how it patterns at different distances. Learn how to reload it, quickly and under stress. Shotguns are like revolvers. Short on ammo and slow to reload. So get good at it. And some of the best advice I can give you. Get to a class. Run the gun, find out your weak points, and fix them. And please ask any questions you may have. The only dumb question is the one not asked. Mike
  14. I would recommend a good callus.
  15. They have the author on staff for the series.
  16. Double.
  17. I didn't get when Darryl was asking where his brother was and Lori tells him Rick will show you then 5 minutes later she's asking him why he needs to go and leave...
  18. NRA sport optics 6x24x50
  19. Nope, chamber pressures will push it out when you fire it.
  20. Kirk, you're more than welcome to borrow my 870 police magnum if you like. Mike
  21. https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/21729 351.00 with free shipping. 20.00 transfer at the outpost. Don't buy scope mounts until you have mastered irons. Shoot the piss out of it. Mike
  22. This is going to be a good match. You know I'm there. Mike
  23. I run then through the sizer just to see what will happen. Most of the time it will round back out. if it doesn't usually a quick pop over to the belling die will fix what the sizing die didn't get. Run them through. You will be surprised at how much of the dings go away after a run through. Mike
  24. That scope should be perfect for that rifle. Looks good!
