  1. I didn't want to be the first guy to jump in here and tell you I see a lot of garbage on your table. But since WWMike and Gunrunner already started it... Do yourself a favor and go to a training class or three. You will find that most of that stuff is flimsy crap that won't make it an hour as a serious piece of gear. Buy ammo, buy magazines, use both judiciously. Once you wear out a rifle you will know exactly what gear you "need", and what gear you need. Mike
  2. You can put you NFA items on a revocable living trust. When you do this not only do you not have to do fingerprint cards, photo ID, and ask permission from you local CLEO. You can put more than one person on the trust. That means you , your wife brother friend or whoever else you want to be able to legally posses the item can do so. It can be amended at any time to add more items and more or less people. Mike
  3. Get a trust. Then you don't have to do any of this. Mike
  4. The Aim surplus mags are actually Chinese mags. They rock. They have a smooth back so yo don't cut your hand up on reloads.
  5. I don't know where you're getting that. I know plenty of people that have used Ned's throat and shoulder reamer on chrome lined barrels to no ill effect. The chrome lining around the throat naturally erodes over time anyways. Michiguns Ltd. - AR-15 Tools and Accessories Mike
  6. Sounds like a tight chamber. Find someone with a reamer. Mike
  7. C products have been some of the poorest quality mags I have ever run in my rifle. They consistently had spread feed lips, on a new magazine, and caused many issues. Their quality control was non existent. They went out of business for a reason. Mike
  8. Find someone with a 5.56 chamber reamer. Dump the low quality C-Products magazines. Mike
  9. Description of the jam? Pictures? What kind of magazines are you using? Ammo? Rifle info? Mike
  10. I was in my senior year history class watching it live on tv. I can't believe it's been a decade. Mike
  11. I'd still go with the warrens and apex kit over the smith issued stuff. The difference is enough to warrant a few minutes time installation and a few extra dollars. Mike
  12. I was talking about magazines. Barrels are another area lacking quality in US made components. Just an aside, no one has ever been charged with a 922r violation to date.
  13. Any further info on the match? Mike
  14. I almost forgot about this. It's a Smith and Wesson 1917. It was manufactured January 1918. It's had the action polished, hammer bobbed, barrel cut down, barrel cut and tapped for the front sight platform and the rear milled for a factory adjustable adjustable rear sight. I have some Eagle grips coming for it to replace the hogue rubber grip. Mike
  15. I would get the regular model and put in the Apex DCAEK. Mike
  16. The Outpost Armory has recently expanded their reloading inventory. They have quite a selection now and a very knowledgable staff. Mike

  18. What brand polymer mags? Unless they're com-block stay away. Domestic manufacturers don't seem to understand that they aren't solid plastic. They have metal reinforcements within the plastic that support the stresses put on the magazine. Plain plastic ones like promag, tapco, etc. and ones with insufficient metla bracing like the current US Palm mags will break in short order under any kind of serious use.Mike

    My rifle.

Yes, it says "Goodbye" in Cyrillic. До свидания Headed for more in October, this one should be a killer ride. Mike
  20. I have one of these in the truck as well. It works great for siphoning fuel. SUPER SYPHON Self Priming SUPER SYPHON For Gasoline, Oil, Water, & Aquariums - ORDER NOW Mike
  21. From what I've seen the screw on caps vs the latch is the only difference. But it is a big one. I have several of the screw in lid cans as well, I've had nothing but problems with them. The spout they offer on the website is expensive, but it will empty the whole can in about a minute. It also has a screw in debris screen. The only problem with it is that it is too big to fit in a gasoline cars fill hole. It's geared more towards diesel and equipment fill caps. The best argument I have for them is that you don't have to use the "child-proof" spouts. I've spilled more gasoline with those than I ever did with the old style regular spouts. Mike
  22. http://www.pinzgauer.com/showdetails.php?cat=surplus&partno=SAV1100U I store diesel fuel in these. I picked up quite a few of them when they were cheaper. They seal up tight, no vents, no stupid "child-proofing" nonsense. They pour easily and the only thing that they will ever need in a new gasket a long way down the road. Gaskets are easy to stock up on and are super inexpensive. I have PRI-D in the ones put up for storage and straight diesel for the four I carry in my truck. Looks like these are all they have in stock right now. Swiss Army Vehicles - Fuel Can Mike

I don't know how they will hold up to the heat. I melted the insides out of a Sig Sauer red dot before I went to the Aimpoint. I have heard good things about Primary Arms in the past. Things get warm up there.
