Some companies in the firearms industry will never cease to amaze me. I called RCBS this morning to inquire on a problem with my Rock Chucker and they are sending all the parts to rebuild it at no charge. I have had this press for 20 plus years. Sure would be nice if other industries would adopt this level of customer service.

USPSA Classifier at NTPS-Strategic Edge 4-16-16
captainstone replied to captainstone's topic in Competitive Shooting Sports
Updated info: ANNOUNCEMENT! April 16, 2016 NTPS-SE is hosting a USPSA classifier match which will consist of 4 classifiers stages and one long stage. The four classifiers are show below in the album but the long stage is a secret surprise! Registration opens at 8:15 and closes at 8:45. Rounds down range at 9:00 For those of you who can help with setup, we would greatly appreciate it. Setup starts at 7:00. $20 for Strategic Edge members $25 for non-members This will be a to gun (2 division) match meaning if you wish to shoot the whole match again as a different division you can do so after we take a 30 minute break after the 1st division is complete. This format will continue thru-out the summer months to allow people to get more rounds down range. It is also great practice. If you don't have 2 separate division guns, no need to worry. Most of the time you can shoot both Limited and Limited 10 with the same gun or Limited and Production with the same gun. All else fails, you can just shoot again for fun with the exact same equipment as a "fun" run. If you can't make it in the morning to shoot the 1st gun, please show up around 11:00 and you can shoot your 1st gun with the 2nd gun people after they take their break. Price for 2nd gun shot (you must have shot 1st gun to get 2nd gun prices otherwise, 1st gun prices apply) $15 for SE members $20 for non-members If you have any questions, please comment below or send us a PM Go to https://www.facebook.com/ntpsclub/?fref=ts for stage descriptions -
Plated yes. To my knowledge it's as good as the others. It's been a while since I bought any of the others so I can compare plating, but the shoot just fine.

A guy I work with asked me today if I knew anyone that does leather work. I have seen a number of you that make some custom sheaths for the knives you make. If you can send me an email address I'd be happy to forward it to him. All I know is he said it was a large "brush" knife.

Found this in the rule book. 8.2.1.2 Start Condition: 8.2.1.2.1 Selective DA/SA firearms will start hammer down. 8.2.1.2.2 Firearms with a de-cocking lever or button will be de-cocked using the lever or button. 8.2.1.2.3 If the hammer must be lowered by pulling the trigger and manually lowering the hammer, the hammer will be lowered to the lowest position possible.

Great match today. Nice job on stages. Wife and I had fun!! -
Wanted to commend Mark and the other safety officers that worked the match at yesterday's IDPA match at Gallatin Gun Club. Yesterday was a great shoot and it is a pleasure to be associated with folks that truly go out of their way to promote this sport and take their time to bring new shooters into it. For those of you that don't know, there was a very new shooter that showed up a little late and made their way over to join my group. While we were all happy to have a new shooter participate with us, Mark joined up with a couple of other experienced shooters and broke off from our original group in order to be able to provide more one on one explanation and instruction to the new shooter. I had to leave immediately after I got finished up and didn't have the opportunity to speak to the shooter and the others in her group, but I'm certain they had a great experience.
