  1. Good for the neighbor. If there were more people like this, maybe criminals would think twice about going where they don't belong.
  2. I carried at church yesterday on accident. So used to it being there, I didn't take it out before I went in. No one noticed though and I doubt it would have mattered anyways. The world is a crazy place now and few places are safe.
  3. I get the thing about kids a lot. "oh you'd make a great father!" "Everyone needs at least one." Truth is, I have no interest in children and have no idea how to even relate to them.
  4. Secured freight is what sits in the back after the truck is unloaded. It has to be "checked in" item by item by the invoice papers before it can go to the floor. At least that's how it is at my store. These items usually include ammo, computers, tablets, cell phones, etc.
  5. Here comes some more gun control. Idiots like this are what's going to ruin our rights.
  6. No need to worry about Walmart. Our policy is we will allow it if it's ok with that states law. If any manager says otherwise, they don't know their company policy.
  7. I actually feel naked when I don't carry. But that's only at work.
  8. Anyway to fix it or just break down and get a new one?
  9. Smith and Wesson Black Ops. Just because I like the feel.
  10. I've heard quite a few people describe that they felt like everyone was looking at them when they first started caring. I never got that feeling for some reason. I actually felt no different than if I wasn't carrying. I just went on about my day, and this is with me concealed carrying a full sized Glock. How did you feel? Did you feel uneasy or anything?
  11. That's a little strange.
  12. around a month. Times will probably increase as it gets closer to election though. And not to be rude, but there's another post about this just a few threads down.
  13. Mine took 28 days, but I would imagine that the closer it gets to election the longer the wait times are going to get.
  14. Unfortunately, yes. Different markets will price differently depending on what they think they can sell.
  15. I'm from Rhea county as well. And I definitely know it's hard to find a decent house around here ATM. A lot of that being from people that are here to work on the second reactor out at Watts Bar.
  16. It never makes it to our ammo room. It sits on a pallet until the morning shift comes and puts it in the case. Most of it is sold within a few days. And the only reason I like to buy it there is because I can use my 10% employee discount on it.
  17. I actually work at a Walmart, I've been there for the last few years. There is a little truth to that apparently. Like you said, we do only get in ammo once every few weeks. I've also heard we are "limited" to how much we can buy and how often. Now if this is a company policy or something to do with the vendors, I don't know.
  18. I knew they didn't make much money, but that's even lower than I expected. Heck, I make more than that working in retail.
  19. Just wait until the media spin though. "How did he get the gun if he was so mentally unstable?"
  20. I'm going to go.
  21. http://www.examiner.com/article/scalia-stuns-identity-conservatives-says-guns-can-be-regulated
  22. You're right. I just need to work out where I need to place the holster to be most comfortable.
  23. I see nothing wrong with keeping a thousand or so rounds on hand. You never know what will happen in this world.
  24. It is pretty easy to find holsters for. I was just wondering if I was dumb for carrying a full size glock in a waist band holster.
