Was told by one of the assistant store managers that we are not going to stop selling them, but the demand is so high and the supply is so low that we can't get any right now.
-
I work there. I'll find out.
-
I would love to order those. I actually just tried but they are both out of stock.
-
Thanks for the advice. I didn't really buy anything because of how it looked though. I simply prefer a grip and wanted a light for home defense. And ammo is a different story. I can't find any at the moment.

So my sling won't hurt anything where it is?
that looks great! Customizing is completely up to you so at this point its all opinion! Thoughts: Magpul Bad Lever, Better trigger, battlecomp or other compensator, quick detaches for connecting your sling (your quad rail might have a spot for one), padding for your sling (or just get a vickers tactical with some padding)! Pelican case with custom cut foam for your AR and favorite handgun, etc... http://store.magpul.com/product/MAG980/100 http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/Geissele-AR15-Super-3-Gun-Trigger-p/geissele%20s3g%20trigger%20spin.htm http://battlecomp.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=42 http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/MI-Heavy-Duty-Flush-Button-Swivel-p/mi-hdfs.htm http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BlueForce-GeAR-Vickers-AA-Combat-Application-Sling-p/vcas-200%20aa-bk.htm
I'll look at those. Thanks.
Right now? Good luck.
Probably have to order online?
-
Anyone recommend where I can buy some good bulk.223 or 5.56 at a decent price?
-
The 6920 is the benchmark to which all other ARs are compared to. I would place the sling on the rail and off of the barrel. Having it on the barrel like that you can torque the sling and move the barrel causing accuracy issues.
My quad rail is polymer. Do you think it would be strong enough to put my sling there?
nice looking rifle. i am in the same boat, as i just bought my first ar and have not had a chance to take it out. i went with the m&p sport after dolomite's glowing reviews. need to add some additional mags, but this is my first rifle of any kind and am excited to see how it is. which bushnell optic did you put on? an optic will be my first addition down the road and i'm looking for something with "high value" (read: relatively inexpensive).
I'm actually not 100% sure which Bushnell it is because my buddy gave it to me. It has two different sight colors though, red and green. Also has backup sights on top of it.
You have a good gun there. Colt keeps its value if you ever decide to sell it. I like running and extended charging handle latch and a sling plate. Don't get too worried if your gun won't work with that foreign ammo. Tula is not known for being very good and it chronographs 300 fps slower than any american made ammo. And sometimes that 300 fps can lead to cycling issues. I hope not for your sake because you have a couple of cases. Also, don't expect it to shoot under 4" at 100 yards because it won't. To see what your gun is capable of you need to shoot American ammo. Dolomite
I had my doubts on the cheap ammo too, but my buddy that was with me at the time encouraged me because it was priced decently. I'd rather have some American ammo though. Problem is, I can't find any in bulk like I found this. I'm sure some of you all know where I can find it though.

Well, if you look at what I originally quoted, someone already brought up tires and I was speaking to them.
Thats the same with a lot of things. Not with Wally World guns, your getting the same guns your getting anywhere else unless they are running some sort of promotion. I mean, seriously, I have spoken with Manufacturers reps, and the Corporate HEAD of Firearms Sales and Distribution at Walmart. If those people cannot be believed and people are more willing to believe Webposts and Facebook, then nothing can really be said. Im sure the guy that "Read it on the Web", worked in the warehouse at Walmart, or worked behind the Sporting Goods counter, knows far more than those people. And I can see where a Company like Ruger would be more than willing to have their rep risk sales by telling people "ME" that the guns are the same guns while simultaneously selling an inferior product.
Well, I didn't mention firearms. I'm speaking directly about tires.
Nice setup. Looks like you did good. How does it shoot?
Unfortunately I haven't been able to shoot it yet with all the rain we've been getting the last couple days.
For example, the name brand tires you buy at costco, Sams or Walmart are not the same as the tires you get at a retailer. They are cheaper and made in special runs so the discount chains can buy in bulk at a cheaper rate.
This is true. You can still of course buy some of the same tires you can buy anywhere else, but Walmart also has certain models that are Walmart only. I actually have some on my truck that are goodyear. They are nowhere on the goodyear website and any search you do for them takes you straight to the Walmart website. We have quite a few like that. Of course, you get what you pay for and they are cheaper, but you do lose some quality. My source? I've worked there for the last 5+ years.

Had this on layaway for the last few months and almost thought I was going to have to let it go because some issues came up in life. Luckily things came together and I was able to get the rest of the money and enough for a few upgrades. I just wanted to get some opinion on how I'm doing with this. It's the Colt Le6920, which I heard from most people was a good start but I'd like some input on that. Also I'd like some input on the upgrades I've made up to this point.. So far I have 5 magpul magazines, a quad rail, a bushnell optic, a streamlight 110 lumen light, and the grip. Overall, just give me your thoughts and anything you think I might need to know as a first time AR owner. Thanks! Also I ran up on two spam cans of .223 that I couldn't resist. Anyone having trouble finding ammo?
dieewigeteufel replied to dieewigeteufel's topic in General Chat
I guess I'm going to have to start ordering online. -
Around my area the ammo is pretty slim. I was told at Walmart that the corporate office issued a memo forbidding any manual orders on ammo. The problem with this is that the system that orders the ammo only orders small amounts. Matter of fact, most of my regular places are having problems getting ammo. Anyone else having this problem?
Out of Curiosity, what is a "good deal" on one of these? PM if you would like. Also, does it bolt to the floor? Two men could easily carry this thing out of your house, it would probably be big enough for me right now but I just want reassurance against how good it is for stopping theft. What all do you like about it? Is there anything you dislike about it?
It bolts to the wall, but not the floor. It comes with all the required hardware. It has a keypad that has no audible feedback for quick and quiet access in the middle of the night. It's built solid and there's more room to work with than it looks. Also, i picked it up for about 350.00

I wouldn't mind having a bigger one, but I just don't have the room. I'm still satisfied though. At least until my gun collection grows.
-
Just got a good deal on this little safe. I'm happy with it. It's small but big on features. Fits all my handguns and my Colt AR when I pick it up next month. Can't say I enjoyed lugging this thing in the house though. It may be small, but it still weighs in at nearly 120 pounds. This was my brothers ww2 German proofed german occupation Browning Hi-power. He passed away in April, so I'm now the keeper of his gun. It's one of the most important things I own. Not only because of its history, but because my brother loved it so much.
