GE refers to that as predetermined obsolescents. Very large words that mean " we aren't going to use a prophylactic"

That's what happened to me. I replaced the elements. They were like huge lime sickles. When I took the bottom element out I could see the lime deposits over 6 inches thick in the bottom. I took a 3' long piece if 1" PVC and duct taped it inside the hose of my wet/ dry vac, blocking any air from going anywhere but through the PVC. liked to fill up the vac with the lime I got out. UntiI get a water softener I'm going to have to clean it out once a year.

Maybe it's time to either get another employee or two or give it back to uncle sam

I think the only fault I can give to Wallyworld is that they only have one terminal to process gun sales. The people there were very polite.

Went to Wallyworld yesterday afternoon [ Black Friday ] just to see if I could get my butt kicked by some little old lady with a shopping cart. As we [my wife and I] went past the sporting goods counter I asked if they had a 870 youth. Need it for my grandson for Christmas. The lady said they did and it was $309 less 20%. That's over $100 less than I could get my son with an FFL to get it for me at his cost. Needless to say, I jumped on it like white on rice. Only problem was that they do all their 4473's on line. One terminal, one at a time. You fill out the form on line and they send it in on line. There was one lady in front of my waiting for TICs to get back to them. An 1 hour and 45 minutes later she got cleared. After I filled out the form on the computer I had a 2 hour wait for mine to get back. Earlier I had promised my wife that I'd take her to the Texas Road House. That was before I bought that shotgun. I caught flack for the next 3 hours over that. My only saving grace was that the Road House was open 'til 11pm. Never again, NEVER AGAIN.

Remington Bucket O' Bullets, .22 LR, 1400 Rounds

Gee, that was nice of them. But I didn't want to buy ALL of their children's presents. I can't wait until supply catches up with demand. -
I like my tomatoes and my meat home grown. Has anyone read the packaging on wally worlds meat. Everything I picked up said it was a product of a whole lot of other countries. I question the quality control of meat products that are grown outside the US.

The rifles that shoot 7.62 x 54R are of interesting design to say the least. I'd love to have a couple just for the history they have. But unless I want to spend an arm and a leg, the ammo is corrosive and berdan primed. So if I want to reload for it the only cases are brand new from just a couple of manufacturers and they want over a buck a piece for them.

We use Trifexis. It costs way too much but Neither my golden or my Shepard bite at a flea all year long. Takes care of fleas and heartworms.

The gouging leads to the belief that the shortage is still going on. So normal human nature is to get them while they can. So they buy too much. So supply doesn't have a chance to catch up with demand. The few make out while the many have to pay the bill. The few will be remembered. I would rather purchase from Midway or Midsouth than patronize these guys in the future. BTW, I still won't buy anything Colt. I remember what they did in the Clinton era.

If I could figure out how to place a picture here I'd show you the picture I took of the front door.

I think you were looking at "Green tag". That's CCI's target ammo. It's always been higher.

We've talked about the guys that go to Walmart and buy up the 22's for normal price and sell them for 400-500% profit. I stopped in at the new Bud's in Sevierville last weekend. The sign on the door said that they have 22's $10/50. We ding the guys on Armslist for doing this. Why don't we boycott gunshops that are doing it. Armslist drops the add. If gunstores stop being patronized they would have to straighten their act out. Now before you start getting on me about them being able to make a profit, If you feel that way stop complaining about the guys on places like armslist that are keeping the price of 22's up. OK, I figure I'm about to get hammered, so FLAME ON!

If you're a sportsman you know that that's money well spent. If you're a poacher you hate the thought.

Nobody has said anything yet about reloading for the 30 Carbine. Although brass isn't real easy to find, it's easy to reload for. Lyman makes a nice mold for it and magnum type pistol powders work great.

There is just something about the term " portable safe" that doesn't make sense to me.

Hey guys I really appreciate your offers for the brass. If you'll shoot me a pm with how much I can send you, I'll send you a money order. Thanks for your help. Ray

I tried to get some once fired 243 brass with no real success. The only way I can get brass for my grandsons rifle is this way or buy new unfired brass. He's 9 and wants to go deer hunting with dad. You're suggesting that I put a mandrel through the neck then outside neck turn it, correct? If so what size and where should I get it?
-
I have been loading for 45+ years. Mostly pistol but a lot of rifle. I have never formed one caliber to another this. I am in the process of forming 243 Win from 308 and find it necessary to neck turn it so it doesn't fit so snug in the chamber. I understand that I need to inside neck turn but need some advice on how and what to use equipment wise. What say guys?

I've been pulled over [way too many times]. When the LEO approached my truck all my windows were down, so he could see in. When he got to my window I gave him my license and HCP at the same time. I have LEOs that are casual friends. They tell me that a traffic stop is the most dangerous thing they have to do. They don't know what they are going to get into. Every time [and still too many] they would tell me that they already knew I had a HCP but thanks for letting him know. Please keep my hands on top the steering wheel and he'd be back with me in a couple of minutes.
-
It seems that the media is the ones that are putting color to this. I don't care if they were sky blue pink with purple spots, The LEOs have camera footage, use it to ID the assailants. Put them where all criminals should go. Racism seems like it is still alive and well in the news media.

Picked up my grandkids from school today. I love them like no others but, my granddaughter [7] was vaccinated with a phonograph needle. She can say more words between breaths than any other person I know. Grandson is 9 but is already going through that stage where he hates himself and everybody else. LORD! I'm glad I already went through that before with my two sons. I know what to do. Earplugs and a painted on smile work great.

If you're new to reloading, if I were you, I'd start with a rock chucker master reloading kit. You can be in a hurry later. You need to learn the basics first. It's not like you'd toss your rock chucker press in the corner and let it rust after a few months. There's a lot that you can and will do in the future that you will need the extra leverage you will get from that press. Book shelf has reloading books from Lyman, Spear, and Sierra. You can also get guides from the different powder companies with an email. Just off the top of my head I still use my rock chucker to trim cases, form 8x57 cases from 30/06 brass, 243 win from 308, and resize military brass that was shot in a machine gun.
