Or "Should we let people die to save the economy?" The only way to answer this question is to figure out what a human life is worth ... in dollars. This happens all the time. In fact, U.S. government federal agencies have a very specific answer. They say a human life is worth about $10 million.

Governor Lee is asking for public funds to put SROs in all schools, public and private. I for one will not have an issue with it. https://www.wdef.com/governor-lee-announces-school-safety-plan/ The Governor is proposing $140 million dollars go towards placing an armed guard in every school in Tennessee. Governor Lee said, “With this funding we’re taking the burden off of teachers and school and districts. There is no excuse to not have a guard at every school.” He wants to establish a grant fund totaling nearly $30 million dollars that he says would help both public and private schools make security upgrades. Additionally, the Governor is proposing $8 million dollars to go towards mental health resources to schools across the state.

We have not been to a movie in many years. We do not buy music, go to sports games or spend money on the "woke" company's. Some say we might lead a boring life, we do OK and keep our self's busy, fat and happy.

We have to take money out of the thinking. SROs, LEOs, break proof glass all will work, we have to get past the cost! Davidson county, ie Nashville will not put armed protection into elementary schools. I go into schools about every week, we have to go to the office to check in. The school has a camera set up to see your face and you show your DL to the camera as well. You are then buzzed in. There are some locations that the sun makes it very hard to see the image. Someone has to come to the door to see in person. Good guys will obey the rules, bad guys do not play by the rules! At TCS, the shooter shot out the door glass and walked in. We have to get past the cost. You just can not put a price on a child's life. Children are our further and more!

As soon as school choice is put into effect and parents are giving their tax money back from public school tax. At that point parents can afford a better school to send their kids to.

I have 2 pair of "dress" socks, all others are white. I buy white socks in bunches of 10 to 20 pairs at a time. Very easy to not worry about "matching " up pairs.
