  1. I am waiting on some cerrosafe to cast my bore and barrell to get a reading on what the true correct size is. When I get that info I will let yall know.
  2. They run 15 to 20 depending on the range, this one is state of the art.I have not been there, but do plan on going in a few days.
  3. To each their own. If I "see" trash on the surface on the bore I run a swab to get it out. If I see a lot of lead, a bursh wraped in 2 patches and a bit of cleaner to get most of it off, or shoot a few jacketed rounds. To each their own.
  4. http://www.skylinemfg.com/ Now I have never used them, just did a quick google and found them. I post to a forum about the Saiga and a few people have trouble with the broken tap thing. My S308 did not need the guide so I am happy.
  5. I have a Saiga 308 with the 16" barrel that likes anything factory loaded, but it does not shot steel case well. It will cycle the steel but groups are all over the place. With brass Mil surplus it will shoot 3 inch groups well, at 100 yrds. I aint no "sharp shooter" and dont worry about "one ragged" hole, hitting a steel 12" round plate at 300 yrds is to much fun. I should say I shoot 10 rounds as fast as I can(less than 1 min) and use that as a test of grouping If you slug the barrel and find it is the right size it would be OK to shoot .311.A cast lead boolit would shoot fine in the right barrel.

  11. I have a few drums for mine, kinda hard to shoot, a lot of weight with a full drum. Google "Saiga12", the store is a good place to shop. My Saiga 308, had them both on the range to day, they get looks for sure. Have fun with them.
