    "CYL" is the size of the of the choke, "cyl" stands for cylinder bore, yes you will be fine shooting slugs.

    The very way I use mine to load, keeps me safe.

    I go cheaper than that, max 200 dollars, so far (years) I have not had any worries. One day I will buy a better scope,  scope dont make them go bang any better. I know, easy to hit the target, I am not a "Sharp shooter", just a plinker.

    Well the bad news, was on the boat the other day, it flipped and all my firearms sank into the river. So I am in the market for a few BB guns, any idears? I have one of these.
