I was thinking about this the other day and am taking a different approach. If people want to show their Christmas spirit all year long, well so be it. I used to put out the lights on the house for a few years. How ever we live a good bit off the road and the house can not bee seen from the road that we live on. We do not get many guests so I felt it was a waste and stopped. The house can be seen from a road about 1/2 mile away, but if not looking at the road you will miss the curve going over the hill. As far as stores, well it is all about money, we know this.
