  1. Well with all the info given by robtatto it is still not enough. Chamber specs? Not "printed or factory" but actual, meaning a chamber cast or a pound cast. My bet there is a possible chamber issue. Also the barrel crown just might not be right. You could have a bastard rifle that the chamber is not in line and square with the bore. Have you check a spent case for specs?
  2. I am going with the goose and gander thing. If one can have it then all can have it.
  3. I remember seeing that thread, believe me I am careful about the stuff. The very reason I want to find a smokeless powder to load with.
  4. Yes, it allows you to shoot center fire(primer) cartridge rounds. It has to be fitted to the frame, mine has been fitted. Loads of some smoke less powder, Trail Boss comes to mind. Cowboy rounds can be bought, but I reload so still looking for a powder to use. Black powder can be used as well.
  5.
  6. Mike, do you reload for the 45 Colt and the cartage cylinder? What powder?
  7. Big field of solar panels?
  8. Picked this up just the other day, got the R&D 45 colt conversion cylinder as well. Gona be a hoot to fire. Now to load up some Cowboy loads and have fun. 18. Price is a bit high, those that "need" it, buy it but just what you need. Those that dont need it let it sit and the price will come down.

  20. Well so I can not do math,  For some reason I was thinking of 50 a year, O well now I wont be spending that money, well I could use a new firearm. :usa:
  21. http://www.tn.gov/safety/handgun/generalinfo.shtml   Fees     Original Application = $115     Renewal Application = $50     Duplicate Application = $5   It will take 10 years to payoff the 50 dollars a year fee. That will put me at 66, just might do it.
